HAHAHA - Tournament is still under discussion and I have submitted my proposal for a LCD as a mian prize and yes it will be on console. Location still pending and heard that it will be in KL convention center...that if it goes well...otherwise, just got another proposal from another client to handle a TEKKEN 6 tourney.\\Will update you once I get confirmation and my schedule is November 2009...

However, my actual planning is to run a tourney through out Malaysia and FINALS will be in KL - meaning I want to travel states to states and find the best among the best...Lets hope sponsors see the benefit and potential in these ideas.

Thanks for all the feedback so far and here is the update on our meetup with our sponsors:

1) Tournament FOR NOW will be in 3 vs 3 - we might change to 1 VS 1 if HONG KONG confirmed allow MALAYSIAN to take part in ASIAN TEKKEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 -2010. And Malaysia CHAMP will represent MALAYSIA.

2) If TAG TEAM or 3 vs 3 is the FORMAT in HK, then we will go FOR 3 vs 3

So far the date has yet to be confirmed and will update ASAP.

For all your feedback, I strongly suggest a 3 vs 3or at least TAG TEAM. Although some feedback says that its the same as the TOP PLAYER can wallup the rest, bare inmind that 3 VS 3 requires serious planning among your team mates. Example: You know your opponent characters and you got to decide who go first, second and third...here at this point, it will change the spirit of your own team. If you are the last guy standing and you think you can beat the rest of your opponent, think again. All pressure is on you. And HIGH confident for your opponent...that kind of feelings only you can feel in in 3 VS 3. Well, wanty to share more but , got to go now...

How about we do a SMALL FRIENDLY 3 VS 3 TOURNEY somewhere in PJ and CHAMP gets to eat for FREE with some small goodies? To test out the FORMAT?

OK new update:

You guys are allowed to use STICKS ( plays better ) and for pads users...you are invited too.

Can anyone tell me why there is some SLOW DOWN in some gameplay? worried for actual tourney...will defitnately disturb the contestantant and will cost someone lose the match...any patch?

Here is 2 issues I worried:

1) Enough TAG TEAM for the tournaments

2) Slowdown issue during game play...

I do agree that if you are good you are good...no matter how the other player custom their controls. However, if its in tournament...we really got to study those...to make sure its fair for everyone.

Usually for PS3 controls, I dont see any issue of executing moves without shourt cuts...but for sticks users...you are to stick to arcade configurations...

I am still working on the pads system ...so far, you may configure to your prefered buttons but no shortcuts...

Meaning 1 button = Throw, grab, etc...as far as i know I played without short cut and it works perfectly well...

Regarding slowdown, we played TEKKEN 6 in one of the recent tournament and we witness slowdowns...its offline mode.

anyone else witness the issue?

Come over to the CAFE around 1 and we can makan there...the food here pretty nice and affordable...i will make sure the kitchen side give more than usual...for you guys ...

OK - here is how i see it....

1) TEAM will stay in team and no same characters is allowed.

2) Those who are without team mates...you can come over and see if there is extra people for you to team up. Other wise, we will think of another scenario for you ( probably you alone but you have 3 chances ...as if you are 3 person yourself but must not use same character...) as this is a try out...so we see how...if not, we can do 2 tourney at once...1 TAG and 1 single...

3) Registration for late comers and those who already register may need to sign in again...we will do a LIVE DRAW to see who goes to which group...if there is enough group for group matches...otherwise, we stick to LEAGUE FORMAT...

Will brief you guys tomorrow....remember, this is a trial for future TEKKEN 6 official tourney...and if we can get this done smoothly, I will propose to all sponsors...

1) 3 vs 3 must have enough members...if in actual tourney, any team without members will be disqualified...after all its a team thing right? commitment is important....

2) GAME WILL BE PLAYED IN 2 rounds of 120% life.

3) TIME 99 seconds

4) TOST coin to choose left or right side.

5) Losing team gets to choose the next stage.

6) ARCADE STICKS vs ARCADE STICKS group, PADS vs PADS group..
knock out then we mixed it up. Depending on sponsors...

7) NO SAME characters in a TEAM

8) JIN alternate costume ( WHITE is not allowed...too hard to see )

9) NO SWEARING at all time.
