actually any weapon can stagger the boss..just that gs easier to stagger or best to describe is flinch due to the 1 single powerful blow from lvl3 charge. a pure powerful hit is much better than 10 normal hits right?

It is not we think KAS is the best, but is the fact that KAS is the best 

Akantor Broadsword+ is the worst GS exist, quite a decent damage, i think around 1550 but have the worst sharpness (green sharpness)

FYI, Raw sharpness Multiplier:

Purple: 1.50
White:  1.30
Blue:  1.25
Green:  1.125
Yellow: 1.0
Orange: 0.75
Red:    0.50

Make it simple, if your Weapon is Red sharpness, you only deal half of the total damage. Vice versa, if your weapon have purple sharpness, you deal extra 50% damage (150% damage)

so..i lazy to make precise calculation..just simple maths to show how sharpness work.

akantor broadsword damage 1550x1.125= 1743.75
KAS damage 1488x1.50=2232

see the diffrent? i hope you understand the logic.

hence, KAS will be perfect with sharpness +1 that makes it purple sharpness and with AoU extra 25% damage, you deal almost 175% damage in 1 hit    1488x1.75= 2604!! ( havent add in the vll3 full charge  ) thats why GS is so sweet to use

if still not enough, just go to the reign of the rathalos weapon calculator, use it and you will know KAS always will be the top 1 in damage output. ( add in sharpness +1 and AoU )

but if you use both GS with sharpness +1 and AoU, KAS definitely win in terms of overall damage output.

yeah, the sword looks damn cool, actually KAS ia an Axe if you read the descripton on it. something like " an axe made of two types of diablos, one swing splits the reath and shakes the mountain"

erm..for the pellet actually preferable you just use pellet 2/3 cox more damage..pellet 1 the damage not very strong.
then you can try to get pellet up to increase the damage again.

Use Corn GL(spread lvl5)  to shoot the enemy to dead 

Erm..actually sword of diablos is fine..gud damage but got -15% affinity. after it reach Diablos destroyer more worst, -30% affinity..what you actually can do is either you find some gs ( grand pincer or siegmund ) to replace it untill you get AoU and KAS then only it will reach its full potential..nothing is perfect 

but because i love the design of diablos Gs, i just find some armor which have the RA skills to balance back the -ve affinity. eg..if you use RA+3 on diablos destroyer -30% affinity, the affinity will become 0%.

Im not the person who found out blos is weak against pellet, the credit should be given to Mazereon, HBG legend 

In fact, the guide in game faqs is actually sometimes not consistent. you have to make the same set and try it yourself only then you know whether is true or not.

Like the grank plesioth vs HBG with auto reload + element up. Mazereon can easily gun down grank plesi in 4++ minutes. so i made the exact same set and try it, to my surprise..i used 20 minutes only killed it..lol..from my understanding, we have to use element shoot on monster weak zone only can reach maximum damage output.
Its not easy to aim plessi head..i just aim the wings and body so my DOT is very less 

the point is, element bullet just work the same as SnS/ DS....element damge will make balance damage on any part of the monster but raw damage only apply the best on monster weak zone.so i hope my sharing can help you guys.

Actually i wanna use Dummy hammer to whack Los head, should be sweet enough  but what the heck.....i had checked some website stated dummy only obtainable in MHP2ndG. so its impossible to get the dummy ticket to create it in MHFU 

Lol....i sux at gunning ma    i feel more comfortable using GS to kill plessi. grank plessi with GS less than 7 minutes 

For that Mazereon gunning 2 grank narga, i can imagine how much efforts and days he used to train untill godlike.its not easy to gun narga using HBG, i had tried it once and i never want to try again (die until dunno what to say)

Of course head is the weakest part if you use hammer, for gs is belly.

you can hit wings as alternative if you cant find the opening for weak zone. the 'spark' part is actually to indicate that you actually got the "head shot" which will eventually lead to stun status. the more spark you deal, the easier to KO the boss 

for the average ratio to trigger Ko status, the best attack is to use TP, 2nd best is SP. or the golf swing from the end of spinning attack also can.

Erm, the first MH series i play is MH2 ps2 version. i just saw the game when i flipped through the DVDs album in the game seller. then i saw the cover of it is kinda cool where a rathalos is eyeing a hunter that carry a GS. then i wowwwww...and bought the game..as normal the first wall is kut ku..stuff like die so many times, no enough time to capture/kill..so i abandon this god damn game for awhile..play some other game..haiz...other games easy to play..no challenge..so i go bek to play MH2..die also..nevermind..so i read some guides and watch some youtube and  finally kut ku down...

i believe there are alot of people out there just buy PSP for the sake to play MH, i am one of them. Back to ps2 MH series where you dont have uber equipment, sharpness +1, AoU and KAS, it kinda boring and the thing i hate the most is the season setup in MH2, have to wait for certain season for certain boss, or spend some 1000z to change the season..the most idiotic idea of all series 

to cut it short...in MH game either you get addicted or you just DONT play it..there is no between line..

can i butt in also?   i played all series of MH except for portable MH1 japanese version(that time no PSP yet)
