QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 3 2009, 11:43 PM) The stiff yet compliant wood composite frame is rather stretched out so its obvious that it's meant for XC race. no mentioned technically this is a carbon frame...Weight wise ..its a WW-friendly approaved 3.8kg Added on December 4, 2009, 2:01 ambtw in wmtb mag, anthem x1,x2,x4 all awarded best bike lol... QUOTE(dickybird @ Dec 7 2009, 06:00 PM) Anouncing the birth of Maxley Chin on this day at 945am. He is a fine boy weighing in at 3.1kg. Both mother and child are in good health. grats!!!QUOTE(radmaszeal @ Dec 7 2009, 07:23 PM) to most other ppl, to be able to ride faster with more confidence, tackle obstacles that u previously had to dismount and push the bike through, is what brings most satisfaction. to know your ride and handling skills, and not take unnecessary risks. maybe u havent had the satisfaction of going through this, so u overcompensate by changing parts in the belief that it would make you a better rider? sure, changing bikes makes a difference, but improving on the rider's abilities come first. +1besides, ask any ''proper" cyclist, they would say ride first, improve skills/stamina/strength (depending on which route ur going, DH/AM/Trail/XC), then find parts that u know would help u go faster at whichever route ur going. i've been riding a lerun for half a year, joined many groups, and most of the riders with much more expensive bikes provided advice and tips on what to get for wherever i was riding, and they also respected me for riding what i had and not complaining. in the end, with the bike spending more time at the bikeshop than under ur ass might make u a faster rider, but not necessarily a better rider. but if u wanted to really lose weight, u need to do xc or road. more aerobic exercise compared to AM/DH. also improve fitness. become like hamster metabolism rate another thing, if join roadie group, confirm can lose weight. cos they dont wait for u. social weekend rides with lots of stopping isnt exactly the fastest way to lose weight. ooo. congratz! time for a baby carrier for the bike? try climbing up steroid and helipad with him, confirm get xtr legs got berak edi, can pasang yet or not? apa set roda beli? edit: kena tipu unclosed spoiler. hahahahaha i am into XC, nothing beat the feeling able to follow very very closely lead chief whom last time so far ahead, i cant even see his shadow... hehe.. QUOTE(kuzgo @ Dec 7 2009, 09:38 PM) I was thinking a jump bike, or if still wanna get full-sus was looking at banshees. Does anyone know who stocks em other than bike pro? I hate going there. AFAIK bike pro had most of the frame. KSH ttdi have 1-2 odd frame time to time.Maybe i should skip this whole mtb thing and go fixie. This post has been edited by chamelion: Dec 7 2009, 10:07 PM |

QUOTE(mousepad87 @ Dec 8 2009, 11:28 AM) aiyo dont poison me and make me change my wheelset again realistically, it's better to spend that budget to get an almost well rounded top end HT then a below par FS.next upgrade it complete bike. any good giant or merida full susp model under rm3 - 3.5k (surely 2nd Or should I just upgrade the frame? i'm fedup with upgrading.. want to upgrade brake.. but whole tyre must change.. just like my previous upgrade from 7speed to 9speed maybe bro xand very generous to sell his anthem very cheap2 liao... |

QUOTE(mousepad87 @ Dec 8 2009, 01:01 PM) but but.. cant tahan when left behind by FS when going down technically if you do XC, you should not wait for FS at hill top. im creating my bike specification. check it out at my siggy later by average u should reach finish line faster cause although u drop slower, u climb way faster.. if you wait for FS on way up, they should wait for u on way down; that's called bike mate |
