will leave that to the modders to comment. If you're gonna mod the engine, why not just get a new viva elite/proton blm? worry free from engine defects, and no need spend time at the workshops. Just drive the damn car for few years until u earning good cash and buy a turbo instead.

Kancil 660cc and Tiara 1100cc..
Which one more suitable for student?due to fuel consumption and comfortable ride?
*
Friend,

Comfort and better performance - Tiara
Low fuel consumption and maintenance - Kancil

Kancil is not a comfortable ride. Tiara is not any cheaper than maintaing 2 kancils at one go.

My bro in law converted his Kancil to L2. I don't know why but the fuel consumption was bad. I might as well drive my 1986 pajero. Not fast but more secured and robust.

1. Brand : Prefer local > foreign
2. Budget : looking at <60k
3. New/Used/Unreg : New
4. Specs : With ABS, Airbag
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : NA
7. Type : Sedan/Hatchback

Actually I have got around >4.5k++ gross salary and this is my first car (never have much experience in driving b4)
Target persona elegance H-Line but wants to know how long i need to wait? and is the back seats improved?

Besides that, i like to know whether there're any other foreign cars that i could consider cos my fren says his swift no need to pay maintenance within 50k mileage. Is there any other alternative car i can get because the lower interest rate, waived maintenance fees or other offers some sort of balance off the expenses in the end..

Hi guys, I am a uni student and I am looking to purchase my first car (used). Prefer 4WD or any SUV with tall height. smile.gif

I'm a total newbie when it comes to car parts and I would like some advice about which model is good for long distance travel (eg from KL to Johor), fuel efficient, and most of all comfort driving experience. I had heard that MT is better than AT in terms of engine performance?

Currently had KIA Sportage in mind.

1. Brand : Any
2. Budget : < 25k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used
4. Specs : Fuel efficient, long distance travel
5. Transmission : Auto / Manual
6. NA or FI : ?

8. Remarks : -

Hi guys, need some advice here as I'm kind of stuck. I'd prefer something which is trouble free for at least the next 2-3 years. I intend to pay RM800-900 a month on installment for max of 7 year loan. So I guess the budget can still be adjusted a little. Thanks for any suggestion.

Bro, 2006 not the current version right?

Anyway, if you loan 120k, assuming 4% interest would be Rm4800 interest/year.

4.8k x9 years = 43,200

Total payable = 120000 + 43200 = 163200

Monthly = 163200/108months = 1511

Crazy, on the 9th year, that camry probably worth like 30k but you are still paying 1.5k/month..

guys,

i'm torn between the mazda 3 1.6 and civic 1.8. both new.

i like the mazda 3. but long term, i don't know how the maintenance will be. if the car is robust, i plan to keepit forever. but if not, then i plan to sell it. but the market value is not good.

honda civic is my 2nd choice which will have a good market value.

any opinions?

Friend,

what is your budget?

nowadays, new cars are cheap.

I advise you to buy new one so that you do not have to worry abt unnecessary maintenance such as timing belt, gear box oil change etc....

regards,

I agree.

If it is something that expensive, might as well buy new and up to date version.
