adv: New, under 3 years warranty, 5 years loan only
disadv: proton QC problem...but minor problems lo...FC slightly higher than Vios lo...

Why don't you go for a new car.

Proton saga is the best selling car for 3-4 months in Malaysia. Viva is the best fuel saver there is in the market.

More than 10 year old cars has a higher risk of high maintenance.

I've owned 3 protons in my life and i've never had real issues with the quality control. Maybe just my luck. my wife drives a 6 month persona se. No issues. There are small bits and pieces to complain but a good service center can help you resolve thos issues.

Been thinking about getting a new / used car to replace my 9 years old Wira. So, maybe some expert here can recommend me between these two:


1. Brand : New Nissan Grand Livina 1.6 or Used Nissan Xtrail 2.5 (2006)
2. Budget : Not more than 90k
3. New/Used/Unreg : As above
4. Specs : Full Spec
5. Transmission : Auto
6. NA or FI : Standard lor, dunno what these 2 cars use
7. Type : 6-7 seater and big space for luggage (whether have to remove the last row of seats or not, it doesn't matter )
8. Remarks : A better FC would be an added advantage

came across a 06' myvi premium version with custom leather seat, tint, sport rims, simple bodykit, low mileage. The seller is asking for ~rm38k, izzit worth the money? or should i stick to Getz 04-05 for ~rm28k?

I driving Kenari now plan to buy 2nd hand car. Is Getz a good car? People tell me Korean car no value. Issit true?

My sister owns the Getz and my Mom owns the Myvi.

Imho, get the Myvi. a better, more powerful, more quiet, more comfortable car and overall a better driving experience compared to the Getz.

Guys, what do you think about the Citreon Xsara in terms of fuel consumption and maintenance? Its going for about 10-12k now. Is it worth to buy? My dad wants to get some cheap car for me since its my first car
