Isuzu are known as reliability .. owned 2 isuzu before.. working great ! never disappoint me.. not even once..

Agree with travis, never take 9 years loan for a used local car... Probably after 9 years, the car value would be less than 10k. Or maybe worse, 5k.

this one is probably one of the most argued in its category, I am actually deciding between Accord 2.4/ Camry 2.4/ Mazda 6

I am slightly more bias towards mazda6 due to its looks, am 24 this yr, and camry looks abit too old man car for me, but just before i make my purchase, is there anything in particular bout Mazda 6 i should know?

thanks anyway =)

Mazda 6 for me.. It has better looks, more powerful than Accord/Camry, it's not that common on our road if compared to Camry / Accord.

But, why not u test drive three of them first??

15K, hmmm u can get tons of options like a used iswara from 2000 and above. Or a wira from 94 onwards, but dont expect loan available. wink.gif
Why specificity an Isuzu? Toyotas are popular in East Malaysia, why not find a toyota landcruiser instead?
Hmmm i would prefer the honda jazz cause the car can last for long. But since u not planning to change for many years to come, the Hyundai Matrix will be a better bargain.
50K for a 1 year car? Nego it to 48k. I personally dont recommend taking 9 years, and best is ur car loan must not be more than 1/4 of ur salary, although the bank requirements is max 1/3 of ur monthly salary. Hence i prefer u to take 600 per month commitment. Used local car, hmm, be prepare for interest rate around 4%.

I hope u find the loan calculator useful here. http://autoworld.com.my/v2/tools/loan_payment.asp

Toyota Land Cruiser '97 here East Malaysia 70k, Prado '97 - 55k, BigHorn '97 - 35k, which one would you pick? that is why I'm going for Isuzu....

If u can afford the mazda 6, go for it. Its suits for the young at heart and seriiously a better car than the eversafe camry and accord.

Just dont expect good resale value compared that 2 models, but if i were u, i gonna keep it for long mate.

I suggest Iswara or Wira, as Kelisa & Kenari are too small to fit a 178CM man.
Plus it's only a temporary car for you and only travel short distance..

Try them out and choose either which suit u the most.

No worry on used parts, there's always a way to get thru.

You can import from outside country and remark it as gift or what ever. They can't stop you too.
or
You can buy & install parts from our neighborhood country; Singapore or Thailand.

There's always a way.

Hmmm i think u better test drive all these cars and made ur judgement. But with such loan i think getting the persona is a better and feasible idea.

Actually by 2011 u wont get halfcut parts from overseas anymore. However if u not into modding aftermarket parts, getting the EK will be fine since the car is locally assembled and for sure u can get parts for such cars.

You can always declare the parts is new too.. They can't determine it's new or used parts.

Oh yes u can get a 2004 city idsi for less than 50k. Its a good choice if u looking for a fuel saving car but pls do a test drive to see if the CVT gearbox is okay.
