How come I don't hear good reviews on Nissan Slyphy. Within the same mid tier range of car, it's always Honda City, Civic, Lancer, Camry, Accord, Mazda etc.
If you have to rank all the car, what would the ranking be. 1. Civic 2. Lancer GT 3. Camry 4. Accord 5. Slyphy I know this group of car might be in a different league. But this is the car we are considering now. |

I like the Suzuki SX4 but for the full specs it will be over my budget. I'm considering a VIOS 1.5G now...how would you compare it to the SX4? For their FC, maintainence cost etc... |

Hey there Travis,
I believed u misinteprete the statement. I was asking how come people don't usually suggest Slyphy. Instead people always go for Civic etc. But minority of the people go for Slyphy. If you don't mind, do u mind ranking all the car that I suggested? Kinda in a hurry to get a car. Thanks, mate. |

Slyphy is actually ranked the last for performance wised. Ouch!
Actually trying very hard to summarise to the last 2 choices. I test drove the Camry 2.4, and I would like to say that the pick up is really disappointing. Maybe due to the heavy weight of the car. No doubt that Accord is more fun to be drove due to the F1-style shifting paddle. Civic is abundantly found on road. Really headache. Aiks! If I would ask you to choose 2 out of those, which one would you pick? Regards, J.Y |

QUOTE(ginsy @ Jan 6 2010, 10:02 AM) I test-drove the SX4 today I have to say apart of the poor resale value of the SX4, if u looking for a better overall car the SX4 seems a better choice. Test drive the vios at any toyota outlets. I can recommend one toyota SA who will give very good deals if u really want to buy a vios. QUOTE(jytanx @ Jan 6 2010, 10:32 AM) Slyphy is actually ranked the last for performance wised. Ouch! I'm a performance freak so i will pick the civic 2.0. If pure in highway u can reach 15.8km-16.8km. Well this car max is 50 Litre i always pump about 75+ Full tank about 45 Litre+ it would about 550km for city and highway. This car i can say pick up it is abit dumb but then once go smooth u can feel the power in the end. In service quite pricey abit ba. Everytime i service roughly about Rm300.00 for 10k service. This post has been edited by arc1414: Jan 6 2010, 03:36 PM |

one question here, the japan malaysia FTA said in 2010 tariff will be remove for passenger car above 2000cc, is this still going to happen?
Japan Luxury car will destroy German luxury car brand if this is true. This post has been edited by robertngo: Jan 6 2010, 04:38 PM |

I was thinking to go for viva elite but some says saga is bigger & more stable, some says myvi is better because of toyota? Zzz..
1. Brand - Saga BLM M-Line, Viva Elite EZ, Viva Elite EZI , Myvi EZ, Myvi EZI 2. Budget - 40k+- (salary 12xx-18xx) 3. New/Used/Unreg - New 4. Specs - - 5. Transmission - Automatic 6. NA or FI - - 7. Type - - 8. Remarks - main purpose is for go to work (about 10km from my house) - 50% driving alone, 45% driving with 1 passenger, 5% driving with 2 passenger - 95% driving in city, 5% highway (for holiday, like travel to genting, cameron, Langkawi etc) - long term use, won't change it in couple of years - downpayment 10%, properly will make 7-9 years loan a) which one is more reliable? I mean like won't spoil easily. b) since the price is about the same, so i'm more concern about the FC and maintainance(spare parts) among these cars, is there a big difference? If can please state out the figure for me to compare. c) for viva elite and myvi is it worth to go for EZI? - Is the "ABS with ERB & BA" useful like what perodua said? - Are the airbags useful in a small car? Satria?Saga?Iswara? or any other recommend?I looking for manual car. I own a 660 kancil few month ago, but plan to let go it because it powerloss..and the air cond not that comfort, i prefer those car comfort and wont so heat like kancil. And every 3 month+ i will drive car back JB from KL..is over 400Km journey, and kancil is not comfort and danger of it..so which one would be my better choice? My budget is from 6K--->9K and i able to find those car within this budget on my list..Satria is the most expensive..But for me, satria is safety and fun. And the car mostly use for campus..and sometime hanging around KL area, and sometime use to back Hometown.
