What's the difference between 10w - 40 and 15w - 50?

My SC gave me Petronas 15w - 50.

anybody buy their car at proton sc autocity penang? isnt ok there?

RM150 with self oil engine ? erm... sound expensive

mines cover RM78 for oil filter, windshield liquid cleaner, RM78 for Bardahl full syn (buy myself )

SC - Proton-Ampang Point (Siang Hin), this SC is recommended

did ur SA promise u that can get be4 CNY? does he gv u sign anythgs and noted that be4 cny get car?

Is there any service cost rm700? I heard my friend's friend said first service cost rm700+ don't know what he changed...

ya la..i agree. if the standard labor cost like tht i dont mind..but afraid every centre will charge u differently. last weekend for my 15k service proton cose use sytium 800 15/50..cost me 97 per bottle. the labor around rm55..

The cost is not much different, I pick because its very near to my house,
the staff is one malaysia, 'noticable' hardworking, cleaner room, and the most important to me is allow bringin my own engine oil, (I hear it some SC does not allow)

Yes, they just raised all saga prices by RM 500. I just booked mine on 2nd Feb (M-line, blueberry tea), they promised to deliver it b4 CNY. Suddenly today, they called me up that only black colour available. Luckily, there's another 2010, showroom car, B-line available, but the colour that I like.... so I have to make do only with that....

Added on February 8, 2010, 11:19 pmYES ALLENYIP, they increased it. My sales assistant DELIBERATELY kept quite when I went to his showroom on 29th January to submit loan forms to bank. He didnt advise me to book (I thought...hhmm that's funny, but always think that I can book later).

On 1st Feb, my bank called saying that my loan has been approved...then only did the SA phoned me and informed of the increase. I told him "but we already discussed this on the 29th?", he said "yes, but your bank loan Puan is in Feb".

Went there 2nd Feb, and saw that the bank LOU dated 29th Jan, so I told him...see, the bank's letter dated in Jan. Then he said...yes but you havent booked Puan....

Such person!!! 2-3 days pun berkira...

hmmm..just change my order for saga se to saga m-line...coz they say i have to wait 3-4 month to get my saga se..book it 4jan2010 but the salesman cant promise me when can i can get my SE....arrghhhh tensen!!! price increase?? arrrhhhhhhh!!!

my SA promise me to give her a month duration to get this car..unfortunately there's no black & white written..hmm
I heard from SA and read from other website that Proton already reach the maximum production unit that they capable to produce each month; therefore the queue for waiting list will be much2 longer

then i really have no idea how his friend drive his car... just drive for 2 months+

Sound is a bit loud than shell, the price is RM78 compare to other brand mostly above RM150. Even Helix Semi synt is RM99

Previously, SC recommend (and use) Shell Helix semi syn over Petronas synthium, but they also has petronas engine oil if you want.

A piece of advice....d last time my friend used it on his Gen 2..... naik bukit terus sial.....! it will b worse if u r pairing it wif ron 95....

by d way...it's not necessary 2 use fully synth.....semi oso good enuf ady.
If don't trust me...just try once on mobil super 2000 10W - 40 ...RM85....& use caltex ron 97...shiok I have used Ron 95 recently due to experiment reason but immediately my bini asked me 2 finished it up & switch back to ron 97...she felt lifeless.....

I'm just sharing something that may enlighten everyone's driving experience.....
