servicing after 1k km is not a problem but bcareful as some sv centre may void warranty for certain things if there is any defects . Anyways, even then, you have to argue with them & be angry hence they might replace the defective parts for u foc . 03-5882-3899......so far....they allow me 2 bring my own engine oil & says that it will not void d warranty . They are quite willing 2 listen 2 your problems too......but u need to be very detailed. Pay attention 2 your IAFM if they are noisy, tell them to fix it.....

only replace the necessary things & no X1R engine treatment, no windscreen washer . Check IAFM got noise or not, if got....tell them to fix it. The rest, should be ok . Mentally, prepare to endure long hours if send to Proton Edar SV centre.....

Find out d parts to change at 20k km from d manuals.....buy it from spare part shop...cheaper but make sure genuine....IAFM kon...very normal....bring it to Proton Edar SV centre so that u can claim it on d spot..if they have stock....Try Mobil S2000 semi-synth...more lower end torque & only RM 85 at PH Auto in PJ. If air-cond not cold, ask them 2 check on d filter...gets dirty easily. Check wheel allignment & balancing plus tyre rotation recommended.

Bro, I had d same problem when d car was new. But I believe there so many factors contributing to this issue of bad FC.

What u may 1 2 try, is to use Mobil Super 2000 semi-synth, retune ur ECU, inform the sv advisor about bad FC, use caltex ron 97, beginning stage of using a new fuel...ensure your previous tank is almost empty & that will give u d effect immediately.

My car now is at 20k km....RM57 = about 27-28l = 270-280 km.....using Ron 97 caltex.

D thing about testing non-OEM parts is to test it 1 by 1 so that u know d effect exactly on ur car.

B4 I changed to all stuffs above, my RPM can go over 3 but no power, bad FC. Now below 3 even on slope, using "D" plus reasonable FC. To me is not bad le.....

....at 1st skeptical...but once used....wowwww! better lower end torque....I don't know if it was my car or it was Mobil.....

But 1 thing 4 sure...most of BLM owners r looking for better performance...better mileage...lower maintenance...better driving experience....eh..eh..sounds like what everyone wants...

Well....that will b ur choice Rm40k national car....give & take ler....I'm not a fan of national car but hey, u get what u pay 4. Vios J is manual & they have loose ends issue like the dashboard are...some say d door closes like myvi....city...gear box problem..."drive by wire" latent effect...Latio...no resale value...etc. Those were d quotes from various owners of car above from various forums....Like the saying goes....for everything in this world..there r always room for improvement...if no complaint also cannot...otherwise cannot improve....

Since u have already purchased it....might itself concentrate on listening 2 ur car & how 2 improve for your sake....right?

10k kmis not a major service. u may use any engine oil depending on what u want. I have personally used Mobil Super 2000 semi.synth & it suits my ride....Factors to consider are such as budget, quality, type of performance required, FC & d list goes on.........try 2 b more specific...

I wonder if anyone have tried Synthetic engine oil here? If yes, is there any improvement in FC compared to Semi-Synth? .......that'll be 96 hehehehe

If u 1 d car to run at it's standard cond, then not neccessary to add this & that....unless otherwise.

As far as I know, just change engine oil & oil filter......

Watch out next service ...they may offer u X1R engine treatment lube.....hehehehe!

If u r talkin bout d door handle, it's normal. All u have 2 do is just practice opening d doors that u rarely open every morning especiall after rainfall. That should be the door rubber instead of d handle. Hope that I've helped....

Bro, d high RPM thing can't be changed. Campro is a high rev engine plus drive by wire tech which when u go uphill, u need to speed from a distance to accumulate momentum. If u slow down when going uphill, it will not change to lower gear but only when reach almost flat, d speed will start picking up. A lot more factors that led to bad FC like type of engine oil used, heavy or light footed drive, proper warm up b4 driving & etc..... By all means, I don't think ur car has timing problem......Wait till u reach 10 - 15k km, then u will notice some improvement.

Did u check on the right page & right info?
By d way, u'll notice after ur 1k service....they will stick a sticker on right of your windscreen. U will notice that they will write down the mileage for next service which will be 5k.

Guys....settle down....

I was in d same position when I had my car newly.....but during 15k km service, I change to Mobil Super 2000 Semi-Synthethic engine oil & wuala! FC got a bit better & better low end torque....

My next project will be to replace OEM plug to Denso IR plug then later change to K & N drop-in air filter....may b will try out some strongly recommended tyres for better FC too....I will b changing all above this Thursday...& will keep u guys posted if interested of d outcome.

Anyways, mine is auto & I only use Ron 97 Caltex
FC = RM57 = 270 - 300 km ( 90% city & 10% highway)
