So that means for 10k service I gotta use fully syn la? cos after 10k is 20k service.

Added on December 26, 2009, 6:54 pm

U've tried adding the strut bar? does it really help in driving experience? wat is BOT anyway?
The sound proofing if were to be done for whole car, how much would it cost ya?
*
fully synth will last for 10K or around 7 months. whichever comes 1st. even if you only cover around 5k in 7 months, it's advisable to go for engine oil change.
just like the ATF for auto gearbox. manufacturer recommend is every 20k service interval but let say we 're staying in hilly area like cameron or genting. it's better to change ATF every 15k.
of course CVT transmission is different coz the service interval is a lot shorter!

strut bar will improves the all round cornering ability. tires / wheels and suspension setup does play a big factor in handling too!
my other car has rear strut bar, front strut bar and even side fender bar.
BOT is Bolt On Turbo. add-on turbo kit for any (suitable)engine without turbo. but it wasn't a simple thing. re-maping / piggyback of ECU required. Google for more info icon_rolleyes.gif

depending on the material / layer. not sure about BLM but i've had done mine on other car at around rm1.5k(including the 4 doors) last time.
the only thing noticeable from outside was the turbo kick smile.gif

Guys can we just apply the Insulflex (on the floor) without sticking it? I mean just put it like that la. Like putting carpet on the floor..
*
it won't work tongue.gif
but there is this insuflex material with 3M tape ready. all you have to do is remove the carpet, stick the insuflex all round and bingo!
not sure if it's works but maybe you could try... if it works, we can bulk purchase from garage sale tongue.gif

Oh cool. Thanks for the information.
Today I just installed a gear lock i think that is what it is called.. It looks like a break lock as it locks the break =.=.
I also installed a LED at the key holder to switch on the car as well as the gearbox xD.

Did anyone using Shell petrol recently? I don't know whether is it me or the petrol had added additives that gives me more mileage. Previously RM30 gave me 120KM max range. Recently, RM30 = 150KM. With the same driving style 100% city driving.

They set it to when I switch on small lights the lights are on. So at night I can close the door, switch on small light and slowly put the key haha

agree with you. in fact, i used CA glue during DIY session on my friend's car. it will not stick to the car's surface.
best thing, once it dry up. it can be easily remove without marks.

are you sure? am using tein adjustable on my other car. it's rock hard with hi low setting sweat.gif
but it takes corner like no tomorrow thumbup.gif
tein is a performance (sports) brand and performance spring usually lower the car but the ride is harder than the stock spring. icon_rolleyes.gif

the smoother part. if you want something that easy to remove, use CA glue aka Dunlop glue.

adjustable is completely different thing... drool.gif

helangkawi should check also...if that tein is really design for saga blm or savvy...if savvy will be too low..at the rear tyre...

they sagat, but have to reconsider the profile of the tyres.if is 15" and 55, sagat is a norm for nearly all brands, except zmax with those tonggek design and GAB with such hardness.

so far, none of the tein spring that i came across is on the soft side. the standard replacement is still
stiffer than the stock spring.
btw, adjustable suspension spring can be custom made to tailor your driving style and requirement brows.gif

15" saga should be better using profile 50. then again, the fc will be sky high!
