QUOTE(BigMan123 @ Dec 18 2010, 10:52 PM) Its strange seeing so many ppl going for korean brands and not japanese? Is the quality control ok? I also always ask that question myself. how reliable are the Korean? From my own observation, I think the Korean has the 'look' & 'features' department covered. Their refrigerator, washing machine, cars look good and in many cases, even better than the Japanese. Plus often with more features and more value-for-money. But when I looked closer, press this and pull that, I find their quality don't seem as durable and good as the Japanese so I have my doubt. So I still stick with the Japanese to be on the safe side. I look at the inconvenience to get them repair should thing breaks, even if they are free under warranty because my time are definitely not free.

I dunno where else to post this,so I will just ask here: I just bought a LCD 42'' TV,the speakers not very impressive,so I feel like buying a home theatre, which brand is good?My budget is around RM600,the cheaper the price the better. Or can I just get one of those 2.1 speakers like Edifier E3300 and use it for the TV?Will it work?Cos I thought it's only used for computer only

If you are not a big fuzz on sound details, then the Edifier PC speakers are good enough. I am also using this PC speakers. Choose a set with good sub woofer. You will enjoy it.

QUOTE(fragilesoul @ Dec 19 2010, 10:49 AM) Guys, There is a shop in Kajang giving very gud prices for plasma/lcd/led. The sales guy is also a forumer in here. Ive visited his shop once. Very very gud service and he proactively educates customer on the tv differences. Unfortunately, i went there to get my 50U Pana, but it was sold-off at that time. But i was happy enough with the assistance he gave. Thumbs up for price + service. Try there! Please give me the contcact number. Like I said, if you are not a big fuzz on sound details, then it is acceptable. The sound is good enough for me, not too loud. The sub woofer is most important. If you get one with a good sub woofer, you will get the effect from the movie.

Hi guys, can anyone please recommend me a new LCD/LED tv for watching dvds and Astro, budget loosely 5k. There are just too many in the market, and its difficult cause i might not know all the specs and i dont want ending up buying an old model or one that's inferior to current performance standards. Thanks in advance!
