I dunno where else to post this,so I will just ask here: I just bought a LCD 42'' TV,the speakers not very impressive,so I feel like buying a home theatre, which brand is good?My budget is around RM600,the cheaper the price the better. Or can I just get one of those 2.1 speakers like Edifier E3300 and use it for the TV?Will it work?Cos I thought it's only used for computer only

QUOTE(cucubud @ Dec 20 2010, 09:04 AM) If you are not a big fuzz on sound details, then the Edifier PC speakers are good enough. I am also using this PC speakers. Choose a set with good sub woofer. You will enjoy it. You are using the exact same model,Edifier E3300?That's cool Is the sound good enough for you to watch movies?

QUOTE(cucubud @ Dec 21 2010, 09:04 AM) I am using Edifier M3400. Like I said, if you are not a big fuzz on sound details, then it is acceptable. The sound is good enough for me, not too loud. The sub woofer is most important. If you get one with a good sub woofer, you will get the effect from the movie. Ah ok,but imo i think a real home theatre is better, more BOOM

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Dec 27 2010, 10:35 AM) You should know, for watching normal Astro, the picture quality on CRT is much much much better than on HDTV but of course, small size. Of course, but who wants to buy an obsolete fat CRT TV now

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Dec 27 2010, 11:49 AM) Many people with existing CRT mistakenly think normal Astro on big screen is nice when the reverse is true. My advise is for those with existing CRT. Ah yea,but I think that guy knows about it

QUOTE(Optiplex330 @ Dec 29 2010, 03:46 PM) it seems that Malaysian prefers LCD whereas foreigner prefers Plasma. While this survey is about 3D, the same probably holds true for 2D. http://macammacamada.com/?p=1355Hahah yea in Malaysia,LCD is popular in the market
