when he collecting it, it still running with windows, so he turn it off and get back to home, open it, got bootmgr missing message. |

yeah
the thing I found weird is the driver and utilities is 2 disc?
I found the content is the same.
no found recovery disk or installation disc for windows 7.
the rest disc is powerdvd, nero,....

yeah, Dell Direct gives all the installations discs. If not provided, we can request, and they'll send it for free, I don't think the policy has changed recently. The practice of installing the recovery partition had been used by many other manufacturers like HP, Acer... since many many years ago, like early 2000, but Dell? no.
For those who do not have the discs, may I know where and when did you buy your XPS?
