yeap on k50ab.

8vvt (on k50ab) has some issues too..where regardless of any bioses, he doesnt seem to hav the option of toggling btwn power express & dgpu. only dGPU all the time

The problem with switching starts when i update the graphic driver. After windows login, the screen went blank, so end up using dGPU.
So far any noticeable battery life with HD3200 & HD4570 on K50AB? Coz i am losing 1% battery life for every minutes of movie. In average my battery just gave me 100 minutes of normal usage with 0.9v

he has the ql65 version.. might be new hardware i guess.. his set dont even have to option so switch..

now its the ql64 version.. with the ability to choose the VGA type... but it doesnt detect the hardware..

yeah i was doin 100 mins too on movie watching. on dGPU. tryin HD3200 later

for i using k40ab ql64 update the bios can fix the computer wake up from sleep mode..
that is 1 of d bios update..update bios is fix d bug issue on d hardware ..sumthg lk tat..
the sound u hear smthing lik buzz buzz is driver..u should update to new sound driver(via)

and the bios update enales u to control ur brightness in dGPU mode..

some sets have problem with the buzz buzz thing when installed srs.. thats wad happened to mine.. i installed srs and now its working fine..

i using the k40ab bought in august d..
my bios from 203>213>216 is work fine...there is still a option to choose the graphic card...dunno y other cant choose..
but nw using win7 i haven tried switch yet..

ah.. so its working for u.. are u on powerxpress or dGPU??

may i know what is srs?

SRS.. one of the audio driver.. u can find it in the stock driver installation cd...

216 was released around 2 months ago... but now asus has removed it... no idea why.. now only 213 is available..

doesnt matter. because its running at 667Mhz too. but urs is better. lower latency.

hmm..i am back..
jz nw i try swicth to 3200 at bios and i success go into window..
after that the window automatic help me install driver n i restart.
(still in power express mode)
after that i got the power express change at the right click at desktop,but it seem no work..the ati CCC detect is hd3200,but not show hd4570 at CCC..
(previously it got show at vista).
and i using the gpu check,i check it show the 3200 but it seem not running and show temp,n i check 4500series(it show after automatic install) it run and got temperatue...
now i swicthing bec to dgpu mode..the right click express switch mode is gone,and ati CCC show my 4570 is 4500series...

but flash at ur own risk,i dun responsible it..hehe
i download it when it release last time..
before that i using mod drive it will show HD4530/4570 at CCC but now it show 4500series does it will decrease performance??

it will not decrease the performance. 4570 is under 4500 series.
