it comes down to either mobility or bigger screen with numpad... ur choice.. if ur gonna carry ur lappy around.. 15.6 is not an easy one... well.. now i have my k50ab.. and im not carrying it around at all.. it stays in my room all the time.. if i were to carry it around eg to class.. or outside.. i'd opt for k40.. but for me.. numpad is stil the biggest factor Added on November 1, 2009, 12:31 pmQUOTE(Batusai @ Nov 1 2009, 12:28 PM) it comes down to either mobility or bigger screen with numpad... ur choice.. if ur gonna carry ur lappy around.. 15.6 is not an easy one... well.. now i have my k50ab.. and im not carrying it around at all.. it stays in my room all the time.. if i were to carry it around eg to class.. or outside.. i'd opt for k40.. but for me.. numpad is stil the biggest factor an to add-on.. theres not any other below 2k range lappy with 512MB memory of that clock speed... 4570 at rm2k.. good bargain for economic users.. recommended.. dont hesitate, technology is always evolving.. we wont know months later there might be another better one coming out.. for the mean time.. k40/50ab still rules. haha This post has been edited by Batusai: Nov 1 2009, 12:31 PM

I carry my laptop 2 times a day ,everyday... to work, and from work... damn, now im thinking twice, k50ab might bite my shoulder haha..
but yeah, if weight VS numpad, numpad wins anyday for me ~.~

ah yea.. hahaa.. the weight problem... basically.. their weight is more or less the same.. no significant difference IMO... when i bought it.. i tried both lappy. and i felt k40ab was heavier.. lolss... so opted k50ab... hahaa
if u have a proper bagpack. ur shoulder would be fine!

Weight diff was 250g, but i still goes for K40ab, coz it only serve as secondary working platform when i'm out at college, if back home i will only use my baby-baby desktop. A suggestion for those who want buy K50ab's backpack or laptop bag, always bring ur K50ab to measure, coz when i buy my k40ab a backpack, which should can fit 15.6" laptop, it's only just fit nicely for 14".

K40Ab and K50Ab came out at the same time...
it's no surprise that production has stopped, since Turion II and Athlon II are already out...
