On the Catalyst Control Center, choose Desktop Properties, select resolution of anything less than 1366 x 768, then OK.

Again on CCC, select Desktop & Display, right click, Configure, Attributes, Scaling Option, select Full Screen.

Finally set your resolution back to 1366 x 768. Its done.

Easy, check the device manager. If all the driver are properly installed there is no exclamation mark on them

Offtopic:
Damn, after seeing Alienware M11x I fell in love with them, its like a dream come true cheap Alienware with all its bell and whistle drool.gif.... The only problem is the screen only 11 inch and I think the price would reach 3k or even more sweat.gif

Anandtech says that it will cost about USD 1000 or less. Never expect alienware to launch laptop in this price range. Imagine Starbuks being invaded with aliens.

What happen to Turion Ultra ZM dream? laugh.gif

Turion Ultra ZM-84 only costs about RM350 at eBay so its no problem buying that but I think a lot about upgrading this lappy, buying Turion Ultra + 320GB 7200rpm harddisk and low latency 800MHz DDR2 memory but still the major slowdown in games is not those things, its the HD4570 DDR2 memory doh.gif

Personally I think its not worth upgrading to Turion Ultra. I'm sorry to say this but arrandales had created a wide gap between even AMD best Turion Ultra.

Those on die switchable graphics are the real thing not like the buggy stuff we are having now. (Fusion is still far away)

Boy oh Boy the GT335 sound so delicious.

Yes the gap between Athlon and Turion weren't that big, I don't think there is much difference clock per clock. That is why I don't bother to upgrading or any sort, its better to buy whole new laptops

The major thing I droll about is of course the graphics card, if it does indeed have 72 stream processor that is amazing, and I think its a GT240 cutdown, I guessing somewhere around 28 texture units with 8 ROPs

But since Alienware has made up a whole new 'genre', which is a sub-notebook gaming laptop I expected other companies will follow this suite. Maybe we will see this more soon? Time will tell...

So far, i've just tried on mmorpg (AION), the fps is comparable to my desktop, around 30-40FPS, with mid setting in 1366x768. It's quite smooth even during massive pvp.

Later will try to emulate some PS2 games, let see hw does this laptop perform..

anyway, 80celcius normal for CPU and GPU during gaming consider normal?

Wait till your GPU hit 102'C on COD4, then you will see that 80'C is quite normal while gaming.

If there is no (i) means all the required drivers for all hardware or components have been installed and proper installed?

Hi, if you succeed in emulating some PS2 games i would be very interested to know how ^^

I tryed to emulate FFX with PCSX2 0.9.6 but the game is very slow even with speed hack and all boost options etc... and my CPU is used only at 50%
Video and sound are fine.

When i overclock my HD4570 at 700Mhz/600Mhz, in Colin Mcrae Dirt, i have badder results because by doing this, my CPU sometimes goes from 90-95% to 100% (80-85% when HD4570 not overclocked) and it creates a huge slowdown followed by a game speed increase, so it's less playable with HD4570 overclocked because of my f***ing RM-74 xD

i successful emulate FFXII (windowed mode)
Default Clock = FPS 35-50 (temp<80)
700/600 = FPS 45-55 (temp 85-90)
haha i only dare to overclock when i m in aircond room.. 85-90 still consider safe rite?
and i think it will run smoother if it's fullscreen

BTW, i m using PCSX2 beta r1888 with latest plugin.. and the game profile in AMD fusion.
