All I did was to go to Samsung Service Centre to order one battery cover. It cost me RM 32.45 (East Malaysia, not sure about West Malaysia price) to replace my scratched battery cover.

do anyone know how to enable "X" close button to close the program directly?

mine not working.. i hear a song using media player, but when i tap on the "X" button to close, it minimize not shut the program down (stop the song)..

for those who use WM 6.5 ROM. which ROM had working finger mouse?

I m an old Omnian user , I wanted to ask those guys to help me upgrade my firmware at summit and they say they hav to charge me rm50 just for the update because my warranty is expire. after that i decided not to upgrade since i can upgrade it using my own computer. but the latest firmware i heard from the technician is IF1 but i cant find where to download it. any idea? thanks... by the way i m using DZIA5 now and plan to upgrade it.
2nd concern is the storage is always full when i serve the internet and install program. the main memory always state 97% full. i was wondering since i have install all the program to my storage , how come the storage and program memory at the setting tab will reduce after each time i install program to my storage.isn't it suppose to reduce from my storage memory ?thanks...i m still very new with all this even i have used the phone for more then a year....thanks...

I have the same problem, as I also like to install and uninstall. This is WM problem and the cure is a hard reset.

If you follow the tips/how to/etc available on the 1st page, it will prolong the memory but will not cure it outright. I usually do a hard reset once the main memory reaches 85%.

Is IF1 official?

Chances are, there will be no update from Microsoft..so you don't have to waste your time for it.. I have check that update couple of times and usually will give u nil result of new update.

Allegedly he estimates RM300++ for the parts only including the middle section (the main block)..That doesn't include the service charge..If you just want to change the chrome part only, if I'm not mistaken it's going to be RM90+, the battery cover around RM30+ and the LCD digitizer around RM200++..

You can get cheaper but ori set from ebay from example..but the installation pat, do it on your own risk..I'm thinking of changing the housing as well but so far can't find any DIY guide available on the net

thanks for the reply. i used to clear all the cache too but still after i install all the program into my storage the phone memory will increase from 57% to 98% and only 2% to serve net . Y when i install into my storage ,it will still take up the space in the memory part? anyone can help me?thanks.

from my own investigation there is a shortcut / exe file also installed in your windows directory for some application. This take up the main memory.

I'm planning to buy tv out cable for my omnia. So far i've tested playing mkv,avi files using tcpmp. Have any of u guys test to display those videos on tv out cable. How long does the battery can hold.is it worth it ?

they nvr mention price.. keep saying that malaysia dun have white... =.=.. mine is a white unit from SG.. did think of gettin git from Ebay and change on my own.. the service manual (PDF on the first page) have a guide on the removal of the casing.. anyone attempted changing it on their own b4?
