The 2 soft keys (above key pad 1 and key pad 3) on the phone, I heard from the Nokia Centre people this is a common issue for this phone, else I would have gotten this phone. This phone basically has everything i need. Wifi, GPS and most important is candy bar and a slim one too.

help.. i'm using the latest firmware.. since tonight my phone suddenly din alert me for new messages.. i checked the settings, no problem.. thn reset the phone to factory settings.. also same.. din alert me for new messages.. what can i do now? checked memory card.. changed sms alert tone too..

yup.. changed few tones d.. still din alert me.. -.-.. the backlight will on as normal.. nt sure bout the vibrate..

If yours under warranty, get Nokia to do a complete clean installation. Better than self updating.

Guys need your oppinion... i've just bought this phone and sadly the garmin crashes so frequently and i've heard that upgrading to the latest firmware will solve the prob...

You jes have to wait for another release of firmware and hope that the new firmware could overcome this problem. Like E72, it also crash often until the latest firmware, no problem liau with Garmin. Jes need to be patient ya..

I am on 021.013 and on garmin 5.50 GPS works fine for me although GPS hook can take long

try using v5.00.50 lah..

i'm using firmware v033.002..

use Jbtaskman to monitoring your RAM..it's like task manager..it's free...

why not update?

Updated my firmware to 034.001 and so far so good (finger crossed )... took the risk yesterday and updated to the latest firmware, finally the garmin crash solved...
Anyway v34 will save some space for your phone if u take a look at the phone mem.. previously i left 30mb now 40mb! and u gain few mb of extra rams too...

more stable..bug fixed..
