Hey, does anyone know how much does a engineer working in secrutiy system (CCTV, Emergence PA System, Alarm) field earn?

for example thoese who are doing some customer support, assist customer in system desgin and some consultation.

setup training business like me. RM10K more per month.

It's more like your senior colleagues are earning extra-ordinary salary. I'm working as senior system engineer, have 4 years experience on *nix+*bsd and I'm getting 3K only. The average system administrator/engineer earns 3.5K per month according to jobstreet.

it all depends on experience and how much the company is willing to pay u for ur service. i just got to know again that my senior colleagues aren't small potatos, they're one of the pioneers for some projects outside

Yes u can't believe those chart in jobstreet 100%. Many of my friends got salary way above the max salary in jobstreet. I believe they got the data from the current salary in the online resume (correct me if I'm wrong). What if a lot of high earners didn't put it as it is optional. Heck, even me don't put my current salary in there.

i fully agreed with you guys. The salary report from Jobstreet really irrelevant 1. So, I came out an idea to share all your salary with the community. Then from the collected data and cmae out a report on the REAL market salary report. How do you guys think about this idea?

i used to work in a listed company that sell cctv... the company has over 15 engineers... they do as u mentioned above including installation...a junior will earn around 2k, and senior around 3k...excluding claims lar...
