Finally I got my iPhone from Pavilion. I have been eyeing for the iPhone for some time, but everytime I asked the Maxis Center, they said to wait for 30 days, then 45 days, etc... Also everytime I asked, the center will ask me to place RM 200 deposit.

But I refrain from doing so as I dont like the feeling of waiting, just like sometimes when you buy a car and need to wait for 6 months...all fire/enthusiasm will be gone by then.

Anyway, I am lucky that I go to Pavilion and at the roadshow, they have stock. I got my 32GB white, and according to the Manager there, they still have many units but not 16GB. Two days ago, still have around 40 units and selling fast.

The only problem I got is that I want to get a pre-paid package but not at the roadshow, so I forced to get the iValue Plan for RM 100/month but I got the phone cheaper.

For those whom really want it, go FAST. No regret for an iPhone.

the problem is that I dont use RM100 a month for phone. So i think is a waiste. Some more if we want to get it now is too late because we already book our Iphone but is currently stuck

i did ask orange if wana change to postpaid, have to start to queue again, the reply was no need, but now no stock for 16gb. They iterated that will get it faster than prepaid...every1 also know la...no need say this statement.
Same as u, i just topup rm30 every month for my prepaid, so quite a waste if subscribe to the ivalue1.

Ivalue1 is rm100 per month rite? rm100 is actually divided voice calls and data. RM50 voice calls and rm50 worth of data which is equals to 333min and 500mb per month.
For example, if u use more than rm50 on voice calls, lets say rm60 and data used is just nice rm50 the bill for the month will be rm110, (rm100 + rm10 which is from your extra voice call)

So for me, rm50 voice call is actually so so, not say unreachable.. because i m working.. but i got phone allowance so nvm la.
Alot of ppl didnt know about this... when i subscribed the old 3g iphone i was told that way but i also went for it lol

ya...know bout that..but prepaid plan supposed to have the free 500mb data monthly for 12 months, so its more cost saving for us who dont utilize so much on call

we know long long time ago already la. Just that Im dont call much.. I sms a lot. IF the iValue 1 sms and call = RM50 then I will take it, in a heart beat but now is just call. Some more Maxis to maxis :/ SO i feel is very not worth it for people like me. I sms so much more than I call...

Sorry for late reply,guys im very pissed off with Maxis already as she say she will give me a call today(as in Thursday) and still haven't received any call until now..What Urban and selinix said was right,it is a dragging process..If i still dont receive any call from them by tomorrow mid-day,im gonna make a big big big issue and i bet you Maxis is gonna regret it..

i booked 3gs 16g on 13th oct at times square... they have 32g?

haiz... im been maxis customer for so long. When Maxis come out with broadband also i use. My frist prepaid card also Maxis and my first postpaid package also maxis. Already know they will drag on. DOnt wait just call them only. 2 more weeks I will fire them. I wont fire them cos is still not yet 45days. But after that You can say I will use their T&C agains them already

if ivalue 1 - RM100
is it mean rm50 for data, and rm50 for phone calls?

or

rm100 for phone calls and i got free 500mb data

because ivalue plan stated "FREE DATA" on their package

I booked at Times Square since 3rd October and till now no update

I went to them last saturday, the girl took my reciept nd started explaining wht i'm going to do next then she entered inside to check my iphone

I was so happey when she did that nd I was waiting for her to come out with my iphone in her hans.

But sadly she came out with empty hands nd saying sorry we didn't recieve your device yet, u hav to wait 30-45 days

And I'll recheck again this Saturaday cause it'll be my 28th day, hopefully to come back with my iPhone

if you want 32gb..try looking it in pavillion..no waiting period i think..but only 32gb...

Has Anyone who bought 2nd iphone from Maxis manage to get rebate RM500 as mentioned earlier?

additional info here, sms is not inclusive in RM100 package
they charge every single sms separately

the ivalue is merely for call and data only.

ivalue1 has 100 free sms. and customers can get additional 500sms free (to maxis only) for rm8 monthly.

the rm8 to maxis only is a major setback. For existing value plus 50 n frequent sms user is beta to take 1year idata2 package

Guys my opnion is we,prepaid plan users who booked from orange and still have not get our phone,lets together go to Maxis center and blast them and make sure we get our phone on the spot..
