jz email maxis regarding my request for an earlier collection date.let's see what they reply to it

u really should double check with the mep again.coz more than 30 days is considered abnormal even if they quote u 30 - 45 days waiting period

try email straight to them (customercare@maxis.com.my).write in a polite way and put in a vry valid BS reason or watever.if they rly cnt help then no choice.....

this sounds a bit unfair to those who had booked from other centres and still waiting.....jz my 2cents

my 14th day waiting here

i booked at the same date as u at maxis pavillion.but so far no calls or sms for me to collect.even the mail reply oso say tht i have to wait for a call for 30 - 45 days

idata....no initial payment required,but still need to pay rm200 phone reservation fee and u must have a postpaid account to be tied

if ivalue plans then is ivalue 1 12 months contract,rm 200 initial payment + rm 200 phone reservation fee

this is what i went through when i convert from prepaid to postpaid jz for the phone (i blif it works almost the same way for new line subscribers)

the staff will 1st ask u wheter u wan to activate the plan eg : ivalue 1,on the spot or when u collect ur phone.i prefer to activate when i collect my phone,so the staff sign a temporary postpaid line for me (value plus 50 i think) while waiting for the phone.

and i only paid rm 200 for the phone reservation,the other rm 200 prepayment for the plan i guess will only pay when i collect my phone



if u're taking ivalue 1 for 12 months

the phone price is rm1990,but the prepayment u had paid,which is rm400 (200 + 200) wil be rebated over the next 5 months

but ivalue 1 24 months contract prepayment is rm 400

what's with the news going on tht the latest batch are locked units?

i rly hope they dun give locked phones for latest batch

this is jz too much,rly vry unfair to later customers

we gotta unlock ourself then

i thk we can make a complaint if its true tht maxis is offering locked sets for latest customers

no news of arrival yet.i make a call to customer care today and the guy promised me to give me a call once my set is thr,he collected my order serial number and i hope he's rly doing his job

will do.

jz pray the news of locked sets is jz rumours

so using the telco carrier logo will enable the menu back?

i'm starting to get more frustrated now,i have no problems waiting for 20 - 30 days but till mid jan....that's too much.summore there's some who booked on the same date as me already get their phone

u can still wait for a couple more days and start worrying when it reached around more than 20 days

i on the other hand should be more frustrated bcoz i booked on 29th nov still haven't got any news regarding my phone whereas some who booked on same date as me or even 1 dec already getting their phone

12 dec and u get ur phone within 10 days....summore is 16gb black...

im gonna ring up maxis 2mr and insist on them to check on my order status....if they tell me again that there's global shortage of stock im jz gonna shoot them gao gao
