wat kind of uv filter ?
like normal hoya uv filter ? or pro1d uv filter ? HD uv filter ? o.O"
any recommended flare-less uv filter ??
feel protect-less w/o filter = ="
*
if i nt wrong..u get flares on all filters..but those exp one doesnt look so obvious..
soon u'll get used to shoot without filter..u shd b carefull with or without filter anyway..n cheap filter nt only giv u flares..it degrades ur image quality too

I am been poison with STD seriously....the reason is....wait talk later

btw, i notice one thing, not sure is true or not, alpha kit lens 22500 produce bokeh is also like paint bokeh (true?)

user posted image

that time before STD out, i saw other ppl using carl zeiss or minolta good lenses can produce round dot round dot bokeh in backgroud, i think wah so beautiful bokeh unlike kitlens bokeh.

but come to STD, look like paiting bokeh also wor... but all ppl like this bokeh, then what different of STD with 55200  hmm.gif
but seriously back to the reason, the STD background 100% look picture are seperb sharp  shocking.gif  shocking.gif after seen few sample from web site

used a 3rd party picture resizer software, got this lousy result... sad.gif
original sizes (up to 24Mpx) are fine.. but just too big to upload..
*
maybe u take 1 photo...resize it to the same size using photoshop..to see whether its stil the same??then we can know its the size..the photo..or the software perhaps?

QUOTE(ieR @ Oct 24 2009, 05:15 PM)
well, to me, every photo i will zoom out until about 800x600 scale to view(4R size), because that is the proper view (for me) coz when u view something that is zoomed in so much, ur eye will notice more flaws in specific then zoomed out, that u see flaw as a whole. but that pic when zoomed out, it looked marvelous~! smile.gif
*
i know ur point..but i think might b related to the resizing sw he mentioned..coz i also editing 24mp photos recently..but i dont see those stuff even if i zoom in...sometimes even when i edit photos from a300 @ 100%..i dont see those kind of pixels too...of coz i know i'll see flaws..but the pixelated area just look diff to me..

i use cRaw nowadays..i find it quite okay and reasonable file size...but of coz..if storage is not at issue..i'd use Raw..lol....i only have 2 x 8gb..and 1 x 4gb...so when shooting event..probably i'll do cRaw..just in case..

e-jump: Ooo I forgot - you can also use your flash wirelessly in HSS mode! However, the flash head must be straight (despite it being wireless.)

achew: LOL cute! At that age my niece wasn't bothered by the shutter, though - probably depending how sleepy she was.

lol...i was using 50mm..probably i gone too close to her...when i press my shutter..she sort of like frightened a lil..lol..

but actually right, i think the model's face is correctly exposed lor..

i had the same feeling too...but probably thats after he reprocesd it..?
anyway from the photo i feel like its over exposing the bg..so maybe initially it was correctly exposed n model was under exposed..?

=)

ur one is too warm for my linking...so this is what i did..
tune the temp
tune the exp to show backround(mask off the model)
tune the exp to show more of the model(mask off the background)
slightly lowering the contrast(not the usual me =p )
slightly "beautify" the model
clone another layer gaussian blur + 30% overlay with 40% mask on the dress (since ur orig edition make me feel that u wan something dreamy..but only 30% coz its already very saturated)

im a jpeg shooter mostly.. and u know la, u need to post process stuff.. cause the orig, most of the time, when i take it, its not that nice =P lighting issues.. i still havnt gotten a grip on my cam yet under low light conditions..

sometimes my flash will overexpose some areas.. but since im with jpeg only, if a picture like his, over expose until like that, could be saved on raw, under jpeg can it be tweaked as well?
*
slightly can...but in jpeg..most of the time the details r gone...raw can preserve much more imo..

lets wait for albnok edition =)
