How i wish with a tuned suspension and nice exhaust then i will love my vios more QUOTE(padisawah @ Dec 18 2009, 10:35 AM) am thinking of lowering + improving handling. do u guys think lowering spring will cause prob (tyre hit fender etc) for my 205/50/16 wheel setup? heard eibach spring is recommended. hmm It might esp if u carrying passengers and when u driving at speed bumps so becareful. Hi guys, want to get some opinion from you especially those who purchase 2nd hand vios. i went to a used car dealer today and the SA offer me the final price for G spec vios (Jan 2008) for RM68,000. Mileage about 35,000km. Do u think it's a good offer? If i buy it..mean that i will only have 1 year manufacturer warranty for that car. Compare to J spec..which I may buy the new one...I can still get 3 years warranty... So which one should I go for? The car has good interior & exterior with full service records from UMW. What should I check before buying a 2nd hand car? another question: i) the SA charge RM1k ++ for the name change & agreement. Is this normal? ii) the insurance cover usually based on our loan amount or the car value from the bank? I was thinking to cover it based on the bank loan amount. Hope can get some input from vios owner before making my decision. Thanks guys!

Thanks guys!  since u say it has full service records from umw plus it is a G summore which the accesories are plenty....i think it's a good buy. if i were in your shoes, the only thing that stop me from buying the 2nd hand car compare to a new vios j is the monthly payment. how high it would be...coz the rate for 2nd hand car is higher rite. correct me if i m wrong. whereas buying new, there r lots of promos going on from toyota now such as low interest rate or free insurance, which i think in the end will make the monthly commitment lower when buying a new vios compared to the 2nd hand. when buying 2nd hand, check on the body whether got tempered or not due to accident etc. if u can get the previous owner hp no from the service book, u may opt to call him just to ask around why he sell. Intend to upgrade my standard stock tire to 195/55/R15.
Which tire suitable for Vios for comfort & handling... Michelin PP2 or Primacy LC ?

PP2 has harder side wall which means ride a bit harsh... but for Dugong i'm ok with it but duno about ur kinda tolerance... Primacy LC will not give you any handling.... it is just a quiet and comfy tire
