bro... they take only RM500 for rebate only if not mistaken... so for me i'll 1st set with Ori 1st then only change they will pay you around there also... coz tire once you use already then it's value dropped, they will offer u about RM30~50 per tire only... so all together u might get around RM700 only... is ur choice...

bro MY01 is normal tire only thats y cheap only... if you look back it s rating it is total useless la... Traction rated B only, no good in wet...
if you change to Michelin PP2 or BS RE-001 or Toyo C1S or Toyo T1R then u need to pay around RM200~300 more... if you really calculate back they give you about RM500~700 trade in price only...

yea... 16" good tires all about RM300 and above... if same model it might be RM100 difference between then... Hankook V12 example RM180 195/55 R15 vs RM280 205/45 R16 (*price is when i buy May 09)...

BTW urs i alloy rim or steel rim only... steel rim no one wanna take... haha... more worst, my dad's Avanza 14" steel rim still at home...

that is cheap if you can get that price but again... if you want better tires in wet traction better skip those, BS tire does not means good...
usually 16" tire is around RM250 and above... as the min Falken 912 should do but it is about RM100 more than ur MY-01 but it's comfort and traction is better than MY-01... other than that u can survey Hankook V12 Evo which is better than 912 in all aspect but it is priced around RM280~RM300...
skip those like Conti CC-1 (tire have problem), Falken 3 and 5 series (no good in wet traction), Michelin Primacy LC or MVX8 (no good in wet traction) and some others also...
Dunlop D-01 is good for normal driving speed only and most of the BS and GY mid range tires is not up to expectation bro...
look at the tire rating, Traction should be at least A (actually i did not even peek if it is A rated only), others is temperature must be A and Threadwear is not that important for me coz tire sure got wear and tear... even i use about 30~40k per year last time i still prefer to get better traction tires than risking my life... threadwear for Performance tire normally is it rated as high as 340 and as low as 180... depends on the dry grip and also wet grip it gives...
BTW Bridgestone MY-01 is rated B for traction only as for Falken 912 is rated at A at least and others like Hankook V12 Evo, Yokohama S Drive, Michelin PS3 (NEW), Toyo T1R, Toyo DRB, Federal Evo 595 all is rated AA... traction rating is AA Best, A Good, B So So, C Bad Bad Bad...

BTW what you want... maybe bro Vios, Travis or me can advice you... bro Vios and me at 195/55 R15 now, he is using Federal 595 Evo and mine is Michelin Pilot Sport 3...
pls categorize ur requirement on Comfort or Handling, Driving style... then we know which is suitable for you...

well u can't compare Forte with Vios as Forte is 1 segment a bove Vios if not mistaken... yes Mazda is give a hard time to Honda and also Toyota, but again ppl in Malaysia tend to prefer this 2 brands at the moment... i did test out Mazda with a long distance drive from SG to KL... good response but it's GB ratio did not help in FC too much as it's meant to have constant power from all the gears...

BTW i still duno y ppl still buy Honda, not see by it's current Quality problem which is quite similar with Toyota... but the whole package, Honda did not sell well in JP itself, it is mainly rely on ASEAN and North America sales... the major problem is the suspension kits especially those bushing is not lasting at all, as quite some numbers of fren complaint that it will make noise start in about 5 yrs time... and it is not cheap to replace it as i heard... but again the current arguement/question also to all Toyota owner... a lot of ppl said that they are making expensive car without much of new technology, why still ppl buy those over rated engines and car parts...

try Hankook V12 for performance and Comfort a lil... but i think PS3 will fit Dugong better as ur suspension setup is a lil soft...
well any ppl here fitted their cars with harder compound like Michelin PP2 or PS3, Yokohama S Drive or AD 08, Toyo T1R, Hankook V12??? pls tell me... if you live nearby PJ area can TT 1 day??? coz i need to feel the ride comfort...

well i'm not sifu but i only will laugh at ppl that change to 16" and use those cheapo tires... most of the Higher grade of Tires in 15" a lil expensive than those, and the best part is they still feel like that are very Keng with 16" and wide tire...

just becareful during corners in wet condition, that was what my colleague told me... he changed GY F1 to BS MY-01 and he said the performance is about 50%~70% only... even at new, now about 30~40% left he did not dare to drive fast already...

the accelerator is like that it has a lil delay...

for the 2nd and 3rd i think pls go back to SC to tell them...

then request them to change toe Disc or brake pad for you la...
for the radio no choice... Alarm also u need to go there at specific day..

if not mistaken toyota car uses metal type of oil filter, so need to change... ATF also only every 40k or 80k change once that is the recommended spec by the Toyota JP... all the while in this 5 yrs+ i go back to Toyota SC and just finish my 90k service all things just change a per recommended except i changed my spark plug to NGK Iridium type only...

u go no choice as they are sold in sets not separate pcs... so u might need to go to chop shop to find... ask outside mechanic to find for you... they can find anything...

or those half cut shop... yes it is cheap my old toy GB overhaul also need more than that... new GB from Germany is half of new BLM price the wire harness for GB also around RM9k from Germany...

no need la... just need a better tire... of course u can change to 16" but lowered then i think no need coz TRD skirting already make it low already, if lower then i scare u need to becareful always when u go thru the bumps

15" uses 195/55 R15 tires lo... my advise is used 50% or finish the 1st set of tires... as tire trade in is not that good in price, even u used it for about 100km...
what you really want to change then let us know to discuss...
