dono why nokia design like that....

i never try using the 3g or 3.5g of digi, coz i using prepaid, its gonna be expensive like hell....

under settings>connectivity>network>network mode
dual mode - 3g + 2g
umts - 3g only
gsm - 2g only
please correct me if i am wrong..

i already set it to dual mode wor. my brother sign up the same package as me, but 3g reception is always available wherever he goes on his iphone..

try ur brother simcard in ur n97mini to c got 3g icon or not... at the same time,try ur simcard in ur brother iphone...

it depend on how much money u have... if money not a problem,then get a n97mini meanwhile waiting for other new phone like n8... if money a problem,then it depend u plan to get newest phone like n8 or not which run on symbian 3...

I'm looking for a reasonably priced GPS phone that can provide me with turn by turn audio instruction. Is the N97 mini any good? And do you guys face any problems with the free OVI maps?

n97mini is good phone... so far i dun really encounter much problem n nth is perfect... anyway,back to ur question... as long as u get a symbian phone,GPS wouldnt b a problem since u can install Garmin... in comparison,i personally like OVI map UI better than Garmin... but even it suppose to b free OVI gps,it still charge me from time to time for the data transfer to locate where my location... 1 more thing is that,ppl always complaint that OVI map is not up to date... for Garmin,it is totally free n the map suppose to b most up to date... in term of price,it depend on ur budget... now n97mini Ori is about RM1.1k if i not mistaken... if it is too exp,then u can consider other symbian phone like nokia C6 or nokia 5800... on the other hand,u oso can consider symbian phone by other company like SE satio n SE vivax...
