Hey, I am wondering is tat N97 mini not tat good or popular???
since not many ppl comment on it and the price drop about 600 (~1900 until ~1350) since January.

this is n97 mini forum, if you do a bit of search you can find complete installation guide everywhere else in the net...
gmapprom.img is just one of the valid name to be used with garmin.

Just gotten my n97 mini navi edition, and a couple of questions.

1. The DC-6 Charger doesn't fit into the cigarette lighter socket of my myvi, is there an adaptor for it? (or maybe i'm just plugging it wrong  )

2. Is there a pouch/casing that would fit the mini properly? (i.e. made especially for the mini). I asked the dealer that i bought it from, but they don't carry any, apparently that it's not in M'sia yet. Hahahaha.

how to check which version was the garmin installed? my garmin was install by the shop... it work find except cant find the address... =_=

until today i am still stuck with v10 firmware. no update available, local authorised set.

ok, NSU also told me no update available. still with v10.0.020.

NCC refused to update for me, reason being if there's nothing wrong, they won't recommend it.

mine is total 172, used 126, free 45 

is this consider normal? i already exit all background apps...

Added on July 10, 2010, 3:13 amif u get charged while offline, u probably being charged for A-GPS(Assisted GPS), its for faster satelite lock(search ur position), if ur just browsing the map, i suggest u disable the A-gps and enable it when ur actually using the navigation, this is kinda like menyusahkan diri, but its a good practice if u dont have internet data plan. u can find the settings at menu>apps>location>positioning>positioning methods>. same goes to network based, network based just find ur location according to nearest telco tower(not exact location), its useless for navigation.

i couldnt connect to the wifi connection on my n97mini..
when i checked the connectivity, it says "connected"..
but every page i went like opera, facebook, ovi it says "unable to connect to server"..
why? how to cinfigure the settings?
anyone would be kind enough to help? pleasee... 

meaning that even i entered wrong password, how is it possible for wifi to connect?
