sorry for the bad english, mayb u can send nokia care for update the software.
u can check the ram by using some app, like X-plore, Ramblow, Jbak taskman..etc

anyone here can teach me update my firmware???

1. install ovi suite / nokia software updater from the nokia website, or install from included cd

2. charge ur phone battery to the max

3. dont set phone to offline

4. plug in usb cable

5. start update, and dont use ur phone during update

or u can direct go to nokia centre to update, they might charge u a fee for that though...

they wont charge for software update for ori. only if ur having ap set they will charge 50 ringgit.

i heard within 1 yr warranty, only 1st time is free...

actually, u can update via ota too if u dont want via pc....

Software update for Malaysian version still not available. stuck with v10.0.20. Europe already v12.

imho, v10 is not a version for malaysia, maybe that's y u cant update ur phone in here. b4 v12 malaysia firmware version is v11.
u can check by press *#0000# at home screen, if type is 555 mean maybe it is malaysia phone. must not 553
if ur phone not yet hack or modify language, then check the phone language, it have automatic, english, indonesia, melayu and chinese.
btw, u can still flash ur phone by using others software, like jaf..check on 5800 forum..

if u were me, u will get the n97 mini or n97? compare with the hardware(camera quality, touch screen sensitivity, sound, gps, battery usage) and software which is the best ?

there r basically the same phone... only thing different is tat,n97 mini is smaller in size,battery n internal memory hence cheaper than n97... the rest,camera/touch screen/sound/gps/software all r the same...

n97 mini batter can last how many days for continuos sms and call.
