I've gone thru my 1st pack of protein & creatine. (Optimum Nutrition Whey & BSN respectively)
almost a year at the gym, I feel more confident about the things to do. But nutrition wise still at a loss. been 3 months since I had any supplements (uni holidays and don't want my parents to freak )
So now i'm planning on getting these :
BSN Syntha-6 (Protein) CNP Professional Pro-Vital (vitamins) Omega Sports Omega ONE (recovery) MAN Sports Clout (creatine)
Any suggestions ?
I'm aiming for those that are best in their fields, (will seriously consider value for money options as well) depending on how big the advantage is.
For me i use centrum multi vits and jarrows fish oil and plus the items i listed above, all together gona cost u ard.... RM600 can last u for ard 3 months
p/s: Synta6 is not cheap ><

But that is only 16g protein per scoop tho. Compared to UN's whey which is 22g I think. Plus it has BCAA's and other stuffs.
Heh? How'd you find my supplier all the way frm Sg? And it's 22G/scoop not 16G. It's the same thing you guys are drinking. The only thing is it sucks, with no flavoring. This ain't 4rings one.
is there a big difference in performance for cheaper & "higher end" products ?
You get a bit of additives (Leucine, BCAA, blablabla) a trace of vitamins there, and alot of tasty taste. And they hyperinflate the price for that micromiligram. Difference? Yes. Significant difference? Nope.
I don't really care bout the taste. Oh, you have a supplier from there? But do you do postage? The cheaper the protein source the better lol. Uni life really screws with my protein intakes timing. I hope I don't lose weight.
It's just dry products. They give a shelf life based on estimation and on guidelines set by the industry. It's no secret that expired whey can be used 6 months on with no problems.

noted sir.
any comments on my list of supplements ? besides the protein & creatine. Wary of health product reviews online everything seems to be only good
didnt really have expiry dates. tell you a lil secret, they set 2 years from manufacturing date because the container may deteriorate after that, the whey it self can last at least 4 years i heard. So the 2 years expiry dates actually shell life for the tub, not the whey.
