Getting Started

|
For multivitamin supplements I suggest you read "Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements" By Lyle McWilliams 4th edition. Book available at major big stores.
It gives a guideline on how to choose a quality multivitamin for optimal health.
For a summary you can visit my Squidoo lens under the section of How to choose a quality supplement.

Cheapest does not mean the best vlaue for money. Depends on your reason for taking the supplement.

QUOTE(bata @ Oct 2 2009, 02:51 PM) didnt really have expiry dates. tell you a lil secret, they set 2 years from manufacturing date because the container may deteriorate after that, the whey it self can last at least 4 years i heard. So the 2 years expiry dates actually shell life for the tub, not the whey. Chow what the ...! luckily you told this.. if not i am going to refilll refill and refill...

My personal experience is BSN Cellmass the manufacturing date i got b4 this is 2007, although the expiry date is not yet there, the container i suppose already "leaking" leaving the creatine harden pulak. thats of course have something to do with our humid weather + the container sux. i forward the complain to BSN edi. lol Chow

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Oct 2 2009, 11:00 AM) It's just dry products. They give a shelf life based on estimation and on guidelines set by the industry. It's no secret that expired whey can be used 6 months on with no problems. correct

Whey protein powder is still good for another 2 years past its expiry date provided it is well kept. From my experience unflavored ones have longer shelf life than flavored ones. I had some flavored ones turned bad after 1 year of expiry. I am still consuming some unflavored whey which expired in 2007. They are still good like fresh one. It is due to our humid weather not the shelf life of the bottle that the maltodextrin hardened. I have been using my bottles for years without problems. guys would like some feedback on Nitrix and the procedure of daily consumptions. Some reviews giving lots of negative feedback such as heard failure, chest pain, anger and so on...
Can anyone share some experience on this product?
Thanks
