finally 2 of my mylar earphone broken already....not really likes earbud earphone now and prefer to get a new headphone, those noise-cancellation type.
i prefer a real good headphone since i'm quite sensitive with sounds -.-" can i make it around rm200+/- ??? any recommendation ?? or rm200 is too little for it ??? years before when i doing research for earphone, heard that sennheiser is quite a good deal, is it still good for now ??

KSC75 got high praise for being a bang for a buck earphones by not only locals but also head-fiers, but couple of things about clip ons is the sound leakage and also there have been ppl who are not really comfortable using it especially ppl who wear glasses.... but if u can compromise that, then it should be ur choice...

PL21 is for me considered a really balance earphones with a good build... SQ wise for me its really good compare to my stock iphone earbuds. good amount of bass but not lacking clarity and details. also considered a bang for bucks...

as for philips SHE9700 i never audition it, but from my experience, philips earphone usually got quantity bass that will satisfy u and a fun sounding phones (im comparing it with my philips buds, and yes it satisfy my needs for music)

so hope with this explanation, u can make some conclusions and be happy with what u'll going to get...

Budget RM200+ to RM400.

- using ipod, plan to get a decent amp for it too after this..
- type of usage: music
- source: mostly flac... and some mp3
- type of music listen to: jazz and some live clips
- prefer: closed/opened
- hope can get a good value for money while enjoying natural sound and wider soundstage

Thinking of Grados SR60 to Alessandros MS1

me no audiophile... just a noobie headphone collector tongue.gif BUT from what i read, Grados/ Alessandros got no soundstage/ very very narrow. I have an MS1i and from what I can tell is that it's "in your face" kind... not like in a concert hall.

Probably, you can try the ATH-AD series or the Sennheiser HD5XX series. If you look hard enough, you might be able to find a pair fitting your budget.

Currently im using CX500 and it kinda distracts me from my workout...

possibly within the budget of rm100-200 ;-)

something easy to wear and won't fall out easily
