WOW....good recommendation....now i sorta wanna go for AKG....but would closed (K450) or the semi-opened (K420) sound better??

Do you think it's worth the price difference then??

Anyhow, heartfelt thanks for the recommendation.

in a noisy environment, d isolation on d AKG K450 is better ... howevr, if ur environment is quiet, d K420 is more balanced.

btw........does anyone has any experience with headphone from Shure 240 and the Koss UR40?
Did some reading on both cans and found out that that the Koss UR40 share the same but improved driver as the PortaPros. while the shures have many positive reviews.
So anyone wanna share their experience?

Not sure about Shure's IEMs, they were never a headphone manufacturer in their company history blush.gif unlike Sennheiser, AKG, Grado etc. cool2.gif

Exactly. The uncle selling those headphone insist that it is GOOD. he didnt tell me how it compare between the ur40 and shure 240 coz he cant open the ur40 packaging and test it himself, but i dont think he was trying to push me his old stock (The ur40 was there on his shelve as far back as i can remember)

i'm planning to buy new earphone or headphone
dunno to decide yet

but i think wanna go with earphone...
handy n smaller...easier storage
compared to headphone...bigger

my concern...
good quality of sound delivered...
less interference from outside noise....
main usage - while using PCs/notebook or mobiling in train or waiting at bus stop.....

dun mind to spend budget up to RM250-300
as long as satisfying....

please recommend....thanks

I have an iPod Touch, but I guess I'll listen more on my PC.
Mainly music, occasionally for movies, but not that important.
Mostly .mp3, but considering to rip ALACs for my favourite bands off their albums.
Rock, alternative rock, not very heavy rock.
Headphones.

Budget probably around RM100~150. Anything less than RM200.

First time posting in Audiophiles, read up some stuff but it's kinda confusing.

Oh yeah, and it must be available in local stores, no imports or online shipping.

Not exactly an audiophile over here, just hoping to optimise my money spent.

All recommendations are appreciated. biggrin.gif

Anything else besides Audio Technica? They seem a little flimsy (for those under RM200)
