Not planning to buy yet, but I'm looking for something more or less balanced, with very good details but should be more musical (?) rather than analytical and some bass but not to the level of bassheads. Also prefer something not too bright since my ears get tired very quickly.

Not sure if I'm describing what I want correctly really. But I'm just looking to narrow down my choices when I do get the cash and time to go to Jaben and test them out. Btw, I'm looking for IEMs within the RM300-400 range. If worth the penny, I'm willing to go slightly above budget, but not by a lot.

Mostly listen to Jrock/Jpop, a bit of trance and techno, so basically I want to be able to hear all the different instruments.

Instead of

1. Music Valley SP1
2. Hippo Shroom
3. Hippo VB
4. Crossroad Bijou #3
5. Crossroad Quattro
6. Crossroad Woody 1/2

Would anyone recommend Sennheiser CX 400 II? Or other Sennheiser?

IEM only. Budget around rm250+. For ipod purposes. Pop and Jazz.

After wasting the time of all the forumners here to offer their suggestions, you are very apparently only interested in the Sennheiser CX400II rclxub.gif Why don't you simply ask for opinion on it in the very first place vmad.gif

more for personal home use, plug into my media library or pc to listen late nights so that i dont disturb the house and neighbours.

not more than 800 i guess, around that.

listen to a wide range of music, jazz rock metal etc. pretty much a balanced headphone.
