Lol..that butt sniffing train shot was so funny. Hope this week will be as fun for Poppy. Its been raining non stop since Sunday...I think Poppy will engage the help of a bomoh soon if it doesn't stop raining.

Hey angel9362,

Sorry but I'm not too familiar with that. Maybe u can check with the vet you usually bring your furkid to and see if there's any medication they can offer. Btw, how does the hotspot look like?

I went to Fitou Gourmet the other day and they're confirmed pet friendly. Just have to sit outside facing the lake (which is even nicer). This Saturday, I will be at DPC but I can't confirm dinner for now cause I might have to attend another dinner.

Really hope i can come for the dinner though..

It was a really great outing last weekend. I think not only the our furkids had a lot of fun..even I had lots of fun. All the pics look so good and I really had a good laugh at those "boxing / kungfu dog" shots between Sherry,MiKi and Pepper.

It was also great to meet all of you the other day as well as those I met for the first time (Rayne, Eric) with your cute and beautiful MS.

P/S: GenkiGal, Poppy seem to be ok with cheese treat you given to her during the outing. Next time I'll order some from you after this batch I bought finishes. She loves her dog sushi!

actually i dun care wat champion or imported from where as long as she is my MiKi....haha....and i do believe good breeder wont sell their pups to the petshop coz they wont know where their pups will go to if they do so.. (i only know this after i bought miki from a petshop)...

Ya, i edy compared Miki microchip num to her cert found no problem...juz confuse she is black & silver or salt & pepper....but i saw the miki family tree all are salt&pepper....none of them are black & silver  blink.gif  haha...anyway, i juz wan to clarify  tongue.gif

You are so right. It doesn't really matter anymore what colour our furkids are once they come home with us. I was told my Poppy was black & silver at first but I think she's just S&P. I'll wait for her cert to be out and see whats the final outcome. She was very black initially but recently, she's getting lighter and lighter.

I told myself that if Poppy turned green also I'll love her the same. I've also learned (after buying Poppy) to try get a pure breed from a reputable breeder instead of pet shops. Problem is, all breeders claim their reputation and its quite hard to find those really good and reputable ones.

Hi Chris & Gee! Warm welcome to this thread. Its great to know there are more MS owners out there now. That means Poppy will have more friends!

As mentioned by Audrey (Rayne), we do not have official meetings/gatherings usually but most of us (myself, furrybutts,GenkiGal, devil86) will go to DPC on Saturday evenings. As far as I know, devil86 brings MiKi to DPC on Sundays as well. So if u're free, drop by this Saturday.

Oh, Duke is a 5 months old pup? That means she's the same age as my Poppy. Furrybutts' Sherry is 4 months old while MiKi is also only 7 months old. The big sister Pepper is also just slightly older than most of the pups (if i've not mistaken 10-11 months old right?)

Post some pics of Duke to show us. wink.gif

Sigh...its sad to know that there are irresponsible owners around. They fail to see that they are the main reason why our furkids are not allowed in most parks. Even in DPC, sometimes u'll see poo poo's at certain corner.

Luckily, most DPC ppl are responsible enough to clean up after their dog's poo poo. However, I hope ppl will get the idea that if they want their furkids to be more accepted in our country, they have to learn to be more responsible.

anson & cindy, thanks for telling me where you got Miki's pee tray. Been looking for something like that for a long time, and finally found it at Pet Safari last night. sherry's not sure what to do with the tray yet haha but it's only the 1st day.. hope she gets the idea some day smile.gif

mtee7, if ur still interested in the tray (it's similar to the Wizdog tray), there's a 20% discount at the moment. Retail price RM89.90

Is it the same one as I mentioned in my PM to you earlier? I am already using one with a tray on top of the peepad which I bought that is also similar to the wizdog tray.

They're having a 20% now? I need a 2nd tray to put in my gf's house as Poppy's gonna start staying there sometimes too. Thx for the info!

Hey furrybutts,

Yes, it is the one with the top removable tray. I have been using it for a few weeks now cause previously with the one just holds down the wee pad, Poppy will bite and shred them apart while i'm at work. With this new one, she have no access to the weepad.

Are u guys familiar with Tmn Desa? I bought mine there for about RM 70+ but I got the last 1 they have. Don't know if they have re-stocked or not. I've seen it at Ikano Pet lovers as well. Hope this helps.

Thats a really nice collar you've got for your babies Eric. I might wanna drop by to have a look but they are really expensive.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been in here for a while but I still see some of you in DPC quite often (but not as often as I want to cause I don't go there too often now). Just sent Poppy to the vet for neutering today. I kinda know what not to do but anyone can offer me some other tips on things I should avoid for at least this 10 days?

I've been told to cage her up but I think it should be ok leaving her in my room to roam free (as she does everyday when I go to work) cause she's a real gentle dog. I'll probably just put on the e-collar just in case.

So, I guess I won't be going DPC so soon as the vet told me to let her wound heal completely (for approx 2 weeks). Poppy's grown up quite a bit too wink.gif

Any body help..my dog dog keep crying during night
*
Hey,

Your puppy is probably still trying to adapt to the new environment. Give your puppy a few days. Meanwhile, try not to give your puppy attention whenever he/she is crying or it will give him/her the signal to cry and whine more so that he/she gets the attention.

Just browse through this forum or other forums on tips to take care of your puppy. Feed her regularly (3-4 times a day) and keep her in a non air-conditioned place for a while and make sure the puppy's vacination is done at the right time.

Hope this helps thumbup.gif

Cheers!
