 Celcom Bill, for postpaid user

i maybe out of topic here, but i do wanna ask...i dunno here is the right place to ask or not...

i've been using celcom exec50 for the past 4 months... together with 1+5 with only 1 sub

usually i used for about rm60 to rm70... and my sub only contact me so the usual usage is about rm10...

i noticed that started from 1/09/09 it has been a change in the 1+5 that is from free 40 hours reduced to 20 hours...

that is not in my concern... what happen was... i checked my "unbilled charges" for now...

when i check it with *118# and sms BOD to 32200 it stated there that my unbilled charges is only rm50++... but when i called 1111 and speak with the operators, they told me my charge from my last billing date (in my case 3rd of everymonth) 3/9/09 is 220++...

i have the shock of my life... as i recalled, i've not used my phone that much of talking and smsing other people except my subline...

i've called them several times, 5 times to be exact to confirm that i'm not mishear things....

i asked my friend who is a senior in celcom postpaid, he called me and said when he check with *118# its only 90++ (his usual use) and i said try to contact and speak with the operator instead...

after 10 minutes, he called me with out of breath sound and said, the operator told him it was actually 400++...

i know that the system is slow in updating, but how slow is slow? 1 day, 2 days? 2 weeks? the difference is insane...

anybody have the same problem... i've lost all hope in celcom now... but i have to wait for the bill for prove...

for now:-

1. i've filed a complaint about the amount is not telly with each other.
2. i've done some calculation, that is the amount that mentioned by the operators, it close the the amount of total use for the past 4 month...
3. i've asked around (my friends who use postpaid) with only 1 reply for now (my friend above)...

ask them to print out the billing then only there will be prove whether the charges correct or not.

that is the only solution for now... i asked the operator... what if there are numbers that i didn't call... he said i still have to pay full...and they will rebate back in the next bill, and the bill after that (depended on usage)...

today i called... again...

from the amount of 225++ in just 3 days it becomes 250++... without any serious calling... just smsing... demm...

it would take Celcom around 1 year to resolve your problem.

I am some problem with Celcom, and despite the usual "we will resolve it within 3 to 7 working days" promise from all the telephonist, manager, and all those work there....the issue is still remain outstanding.

I made my first report in March 09, and today is already 24 September 2009 the issue is still remain outstanding.

wah...that long aa? its the same as i dont report at all... my fren sounded so easy... but he scolded those operator as he please... not my style...

in malaysia u talk nicely they dun help u solve instantly they prolong it because ure easy to be bullied. So its up to u if u dun mind drag 2 or 3 months then not scolding is not your style in solving immediate problem.

facing same problem, swap from maxis 50+30 plan to celcom 50+5 plan.. does 1st month of usage got extra charge?

1st month charges is depend on your usage... the calculation is rm50 (for exec50) commitment fee divide by 30 or 31 days times the days u use until the next billing date...

for example...

you start using celcom 1+5 today.. 25th september... usually the next billing date is 6th of every month... so... you 1st month payment is...

50/30*12= RM20 + 5% tax + RM3 (detail billing) + extra charges (when u used over 20 ringgit over those 12 days)

that is from my understanding...correct me if i'm wrong...


but if you facing the exact same problem as i... means celcom does have problem...

how about you try to check using *118# >> 6 >> 1... and try to recheck by calling 1111 and speak with the operator and ask them about current usage... if the different is quite big (i mean not 1 or 2 ringgit, 100 to 200 ringgit) then this is celcom's problem, not individual...

After u make complain to the branch, if they are not able to give reasonable explaination / bills rebate for those that u being charge while u r not using that much,
I suggest u complaint to SKMM/MMCC to take future actions.

i got same problem with u..before this i dont take tht billing details..so dont know what are they charge for me for..but when i check my bill frequently using *118#..my bill increase a little by little even i dont make any call or sms to other number except to my 5+1 suppliment.. .i go to menara celcom ask them myb they can check using their greatest system to check my postpaid usage..but they say..u much wait till the end of the month so at tht time baru u can check the bill..

i ask them back..so, if i dont know tht charge for what..?how i can manage or control my phone line usage..?and i tell them even i call or sms my 5+1 supplimentary also charged..how come? depa untung bleh banyak la..customer terguna lebih2..sebab xda notification system..just limit credit.. at least celcom should hv system to check the current usage or limit of tht line for free call n sms.so after tht they say...of coz celcom hv tht kind of system..but still in updating process..how long the updating tk time..?x abih2 update.. vmad.gif ..so..i x sempat nk sambung..skrang dh nak balik.hv somting to do.next time..i will continue this topic..ok.cau.

i just called celcom customer service again....

the problem is because i use 1+5...

the new system starting from 1 September about reducing from free 40 hours, to 20 hours of talk time from any 1+5 numbers is still in progress of upgrading...

thus any call/sms/mms/video call made from master tu subline, or vice versa, or sub to sub.... they charge straight to bill, until the time the bill comes out then only they deduct...

wth, dont make customer susah la... it has become problematic since i can't check whether i have exceed my own usage or not... must wait until the bill comes out...

if they wanna upgrade, update, change and such, test the whole system 2 or 3 month earlier... and please inform those customer services... they all become lack of answers towards questions that they suppose to know the answer...

last saturday..i got this message from celcom which notify me about my free call limit..tht message is like this.

~~"Dear Customer, u hv reached 90% of your free calls to 5+1 family members. Normal charges will apply once u hv used 100% of your free calls. TQ."~~

so, now i feel i little bit relieved about this thing. yawn.gif hopefully they will also sent msj after 100% free calls limit reached..but until now..i just can control my free call only flex.gif .

still have the problem about the line usage tht i got charged even i dont make calls or msj to other number mad.gif ...still cannot check from celcom center..or their system..still must wait until the bill comes out just like empithree mention bfore..

hmm..yeah..but not sure la if the really charge the call or message between 1+5 members like they mention..im confused. if i count my calls n msj..its should be over than the charge in my bill..if they charge for my 1+5 members..my bill should be over RM100++.. sweat.gif (coz i already use up 90% free call time for my line) but somehows it only charge just like 7cent,3 or 4 ringgit...n many time..and untill now its cost me like rm11++. unsure.gif .(so thts why i cant determine is tht charges from my call to my 1+5 members? shakehead.gif i dont call or msj any other number beside my 1+5 members..so where this charge come from? rclxub.gif ..or myb..they charge randomly..? im afraid when bill comes out..tht charge is not between 1+5 members..but for other reason which i currently dont know...and must pay tht charge) doh.gif

maybe you r a few lucky that didn't kena like me... my only subline, contact me ONLY... and ended with 175++... gila... after the sms that tells about the 90% thingy, i ask my subline not to contact me using celcom anymore... just to be safe...

wah...sori 2 heard dat bro...i'm using celcom postpaid nearly 5yrs til now, wat can i say is...

1. sms is expensive, so i get hotlink for sms onli,hehe... wit same amount of sms sent using hotlink every month, i save nearly rm30...
2. exec plan wit 10%-30% is nothing... mine is the normal plan rm80 plan. i oso planned to change to exec plan b4, but after calculate, i'll get the same amount by exec plan onli after 30% discount, n if use less, less discount, no use lorr...
3. any rm50 plan is expensive, i used b4 n my bills was always around rm150. changed to rm80 plan wit same hours usage = rm120 onli la...
4. my usage around 450-500hrs per month, wit low sms usage,my bills was around rm120-rm140...

better check 1st all plan offered, calculate everything n choose which 1 suit ur usage, 4 me celcom is better than others, gud coverage n reasonable charges - except 4 sms la, hehe...

last nite i called celcom operator asking them about my line bill...its already Rm150++ for my numbers..and RM250++ for my partner... shocking.gif WAoshh...!!! icon_idea.gif sweat.gif


tht charge is including to our 5+1 members...so thts the reason why..
now..i just waiting for the next bill..if this can be solve...so its ok..if not..myb i will decide for the other mobile network..
furthermore, im currently use maxis(prepaid) and celcom(postpaid).. rolleyes.gif

i think they start the 1st day the new bill started... let say your bill started at 3rd of every month, that's when the call duration starts...

20 hours is not enuv... seriously... demit la like this...

but why my first bill has shown monthly charges is rm60
then what is one time charges is ?

I teach you a trick. Sign yourself up to another supplementary line. Use this line to call your gf when main line reaches about 20 hours already. That way, you can have additional 20 hours with just adding RM5/month.

i got tht charge also..and after i received the bill..i go ask them they said its stamp duty charge..rm10.
but i still really dissapointed with their notification system...my case rite now..i as supplimentary got tht notification msj at the rite time la.so no problem.but for my downline, didnt receive any msj and when checking balance also cannot..by sms la(by phone i dont do tht at tht time) so we think still dont above limit yet..then when i got final total charge already RMxxx..selepas tu baru dapat msj notification tu...dapat pon dh nk bt pa...haiya

me facing the same pro too... my line almost rm 250++ ready while my sub line more than rm 300.. even my monthly average usage not even touch figure of rm 100 normally..... why currently we guys facing this kind of pro ????

always refer to bill.. they only deducted the calls between 'family plan' from total usage when they about to print the bills. if u check ur bill at the middle of the month,u'll get the 'exact' usage (before deduct the free calls between 'family plan')

Thats the celcom i'm using now. Had same problem months back. I like to call 1111 to check my minutes usage, and make sure i'm still within my range, till one day the operator told me i have 300dept, lol.. and the figures maintain for nex few weeks.

till the bill came, it's only stated there RM55+, lol.
after that incident, i never even bother to call them anymore, thats not a service at all when they cant provide accurate things.

btw i hate the 40hour talktime reduce to 20hours. i tot we all had the agreement when sign up?

yeah..tht celcom customer service cant provide accurate things at alll.my previous bill also hv problem..3g data rate charged around rm10..but i dont use any internet program in my phone..just the mms between family members (its free rite?)..i called tht service asking about this..they said mayb my phone got virus inside and bcoz tht i got charge for the 3g data usage..it always myb..its really suck... shakehead.gif

and about 40hours talktime ...i once go to celcom tower..and complaining about tht..and they just said its not stated in the agreement paper.just stated in the promotion..so.they can do whatever they wan..celcom is very cruel...didnt inform at all to me about this plan....if im not ask them..a will not know at all.we are not always checking tht celcom website.so at least inform to the customer la..im so angry.haiya.. bruce.gif bruce.gif i subscribed to this plan bcoz thts 40hours talktime on middle of august..x sampai 1 month dh ubah jd 20hours..sohai.. shocking.gif

guys ..i wanna ask sumtin here .for 50exec and 1+5 users here..before u all get the warning message from CELCOM saying that ur usage is 90% .ur bill is still below rm50 rite? and wth this month my partner's bill is rm600 and mine is rm200 .ive been using this plan for months and my bill never exceed rm80 ..i can't believe this really ..haiya sakit kepala like this .

hi...i MNPed to celcom exec 50 last month on the 17th. n when i received my bill for last month, it stated tat the cycle will stop at 23rd of each month. afaic my fon usage is not heavy. juz normal official + casual calls. but they charges me an extra of RM16.31 for Local Calls to top of the 50. but there is no details on the number that i hv called. anybody can teach me whr to get the details for the billing statetement? TIA smile.gif

if u dont subcribed the billing detail which is RM3 per month..u still cant check it from the internet...sohai la this celcom..
and u must go celcom center ask them directly...me too once want to know the details...but they said u must pay Rm3 per month if u want to see the detail.. mad.gif they hv there own way to suck customer money..
for tm line its already included in the bill..so why not celcom do like tht also...
they want to make us see it very cheap only rm50 per month la..huishh~!!!!

but not all is bad..sure celcom also hv it advantage....
i too rite now can manage my call already...last month i only be charged rm54+-
we sholud count our own usage.and calculate it ourself..cannot believe those celcom system anymore...

sure ur subline and u is really are lite user..do u count the total ur own call duration..if u say YES..
then just go direclty to celcom center and make a report about it..
coz my fren once is just like u...(if its true la u dont over limit..) so he go report it..and those celcom deduct back the charges... and after u pay the right amount..they will unbarred ur subline back.

it my case...when my first usage...i dont count my call duration...coz i believe those celcom system really reliably..but somehow those notification come so late..i actually feel a little bit weird coz already call my subline so many..but still dont get tht warning msj.. then i go report it to celcom...they said they cannot reduce the charge coz it me who do the calling..WTH mad.gif then i said..so why u make those notification system when tht system dont work properly....!! vmad.gif my line also barred..but bcoz i really need to use the phone line...then i go pay la the bill.

in my case...i just use my handphone to calculate the charge..we can check it from the calling timer rite..but neeed to set it properly la..

example...
when u check ur current bill from the operator..stated rm200
then call to ursubline charge = total time u do calling t ur subline
(eg:18hour = 60x18 =1080) so, 1080 x rm0.15 = rm162

SO..ur real charge is RM200 - Rm162 =RM38 ..

should take care...be alert..

currently my bill its ok..but once i hv tht problem again...sure i dont want to pay it.. mad.gif

i port in to celcom for 2 mths and i cant stand their unreasonable charges. My bill was up to RM300 per mth!! And the network sucks. Yes the coverage is good but the signal strength is low. So i switch back to Maxis that cost me mthly around RM200 only!! Network cvrg better!!

GUys,

Actually, when you are using Celcom Family Plan, and you call the operator, he or she does not deduct that money yet from your bill. Actually, just send an sms to 22200 and write "BOD" in that message should be enough. So, the RM200+ is before deduct from your 1200 minutes. after they calculate the bill back, then it is back to RM70,Rm80 (your normal rate).

I got this problem now!!!!

Normally my bill never reached rm80 per month..but now...im really really shocked when my bill now already rm200+..i use celcom postpaid exec 1+5..i can,t call out due this prob coz i already change my credit limit from 150 to rm70 coz im soooooo afraid about wuts going now....when i ask..they cannot detect how the bill can me like that...n i need to wait untill the bill come out thus 18nov...cannot duduk diam..today da dekat 20 kali i call celcom line..untill i ilang sabar..i mrh2 customer service tu even i know thats not their prob..sorry but celcom must do something about their system...not tally at all..sms..or call 1111 when i check the balance..

i received my celcom bill yesterday & i was so shocked to see the amount of RM 153 that I need to pay...
my normal bill is only around 60 - 70 only... i used the celcom exec 1 + 5....

there's 21 weird sms from PROGAIN charged me RM 4 for each sms...
whereby I never received any weird sms like that...

I already put up complaint to celcom & will send the same complaint to SKMM due to Celcom ask me to pay for the sms also...

but there's a lot of celcom customer facing the same problem with me...
