Yes they are exploiting you. You are a first class honours student and there are many better opportunities for you to explore.

big four = 2.35 - 2.5k for Degree holders
Medium 8 = 2.2k - 2.4k for degree holders

I believe your pay is fair as you are a fresh grad. You could get higher but would say that isnt the highest priority at this point of time.

If you have already worked for the company 1year then I think you are underpaid

Fresh grads in KL can earn between RM1.6k to RM5k (for the RM5k only the best gets it. Most fall between RM2k - RM3k)

the only limit is yourself. Plenty of sales jobs around that pays better basic and fat commission but you must be able to do it.

I would believe even if he/she is in sales department a RM1.2k basic is WAYYY too low.

Basic for sales people is usually around RM2k - RM2.5k for a person with 3 years experience. I know that sales people usually rely on commission more than basic but having a RM1.2k basic with 3 years exp is ridiculous in KL.
