I would like to ask whether Maxis provide Prepaid (Hotlink) Packages for iPhone?

I'm considering getting an iPhone, maybe direct from Maxis or maybe from LYN Garage Sales.

However, if I get it from Garage Sales, and I'm planning to use Hotlink Sim Card. Would it be possible?

Sorry if I am asking in the wrong section & sorry for the noob question.

Yes they do offer prepaid packages (but without any subsidy to the phone price) with free 500mb data package for 12 months (if i'm not mistaken). Check out Maxis websites for the details.

any1 here had any problems with your speaker? just now suddenly my phone speaker not working (i open ipod there is no volume bar) but when i plug in the headphone the volume bar is up and there is sound ... there is also sound when i get calls or call ppl

If I got an iPhone by myself, can I use my existing hotlink prepaid sim card straight to apply for its service?

I'm not a fanboy of iPhone, more to Blackberry. I'm currently using Hotlink for BB also. I can use *100# to subscribe for the BIS.

Just wondering is iPhone steps of subscribing the service is the same.

Yes, you can use your existing Hotlink sim. Just check with Maxis what data packages they have available. All you need to do with the iPhone is subscribe to the data services/package you select and you are good to go.

Is there anyway that i could restore iPhone as New then use backup to get back all my saved data?

yes you can ....but there quite a hassel if you want to restore to 3.1.2....but to 3.1.3...is not a problem at all....

Guys, would like to ask on push notification for facebook
mine is working but no sound? And sometimes totally not working?
Is this a facebook app bug or my push notification function is totally rosak?

its sometime facebook bug...but just try check the setting or try reinstalling facebook....sometime if you edge or gprs off the notification will not come in also....

hi guys I have 2 questions

1) Can I sync music by Album under iTunes? notice there is only option to sync by Playlist & Artist but no Album

How to check whether it is officially unlocked or not?
I bought it from Maxis a week ago.

i'm currently facing a lil problem with my iphone 3gs where as it is unable to make calls. But it is able to receive calls and send sms. May I know what is the problem that I'm facing so that I could avoid sending it for warranty? Cause it takes such a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time!

Is it anyway to repair it?

try resetting the network settings

probablyw ill work. cause thats how i fixed my unable to send sms problem

ive already reset the network services for a million times but still facing the same problem.

take out the sim and try on the other phone...then try another on sim on your iphone..???

just wanna find out whether your ipod process is running all the time? when i use my sbsettings to kill the ipod process, after awhile when i check in my processes list i'll be able to see ipod running again even though i did not launch ipod.

is this normal?
