Well the best solution that i can recommend here is, try to restore your iphone as NEW (not from backup)
then check back if the problems still exists

Since updating to fw3.1, my iphone 3G always switch off by itself.
I've tried to find solution, but can't get any. I try restore, but the problem is still there.

Anyone face this kind of problem before?

it occur since updating to 3.1
before this nvr happened.

so after google about this problem,
not only you and me kena.

alot of people complaint about this.
actually nothing wrong with the phone.
the culprit is OS 3.1!

many people complaint d.
no point you go claim waranty as its not a hardware prob. (as far as i know la)

so need to wait for next update or try to find solution downgrade your firmware.
i got boring worrying about my iphone d.
just wait la for update. no choice..

for time being, if my iphone shutoff itself, i just reboot.
thats all i can do for now.. i know its irritating but what else i can do.

for 3GS if u want to shut off the app completely is by
press the sleep button until the "slide to off" appear then u press home button for 5seconds

then it will completely exit the apps.

after using the iphone for about few months, i feel the battery is getting better and better.

so,just from my thought, i guess for who has encounter battery problem before, try to use it a few months and you will see the battery will get better.

hey guys, i wonder, is it safe to do online banking activity using the 3G/edge/gprs.

last few days, when i was outside, suddenly i need to do immediate transfer to someone's bank account. so thought of doin it straight from iphone since i got the data plan. but then i've no confident scared if its not a safe connection so i went to starbucks and used the wifi instead.

so is it safe to do online banking activities over the 3G/edge/gprs?

i try to on the push in, then i try sending email to my gmail acc from my hotmail acc. but nothing happen. i didnt get it even after one night. doesn't push is suppose to get it imediately?

for me
1. The iphone got hotter when using 3G for browsing
2. Sometimes the email suddenly fetch for itself eventho i set to manually fetch
3. Battery runs out faster compared to other phone. Well obviously right
4. Data counter sometimes lari here there abit
5. Drop calls. Hmmm
6. Incoming email sound not that loud
7. Push notification sometimes not well working

and some other stuff. Hahaha
but despite all this, i always love my iphone and can't live without it. Hehe
all this is minor prob thats still acceptable for me.
