QUOTE(iphoneiphone @ Jan 20 2010, 06:37 PM) hey guys, i wonder, is it safe to do online banking activity using the 3G/edge/gprs. last few days, when i was outside, suddenly i need to do immediate transfer to someone's bank account. so thought of doin it straight from iphone since i got the data plan. but then i've no confident scared if its not a safe connection so i went to starbucks and used the wifi instead. so is it safe to do online banking activities over the 3G/edge/gprs? have you guys had tried before? thanks in advance. IMHO, i think it's safer to do it over 3G/edge/gprs rather than starbucks wifi which is also over the air and most probably some script kiddy is sniffing the network.

Hi All,
i've been looking around and searching around but can't seem to find anything regarding what i'm about to ask. hopefully some sifu's here can help.
is it possible to configure the iphone so that after deleting or sending emails it will automatically go back to the inbox rather than opening the next email.
same goes for SMS's. issit possible to configure the iphone so that after deleting or sending a sms, it'll automatically go back to the message list. i find it irritating that it stays in the user sms and i have to manually click on back(messages) to go back to message list.

Hi All,
is there anyway to set my SMS and Email settings so that whenever i write a new SMS/Email or delete a SMS/Email, it will automatically go back to the message list/inbox???
coz like emails now, if i delete an email it will automatically go to the next mail.
as for SMS, whenever i send or delete a message, it will stay with the current users SMS list. abit irritating that i have to press back(messages) each time.

QUOTE(Lord_Ashe @ Feb 9 2010, 12:57 PM) haha i know what you mean. I've resorted to going back to the main message list, tapping edit and then deleting the emails i don't want all in one go. as for SMS i think we're stuck... oh well, i guess i have to make it a habit to exit to the inbox before i press the home screen. really irritating that when i click on my mails or sms, and i'm not in the inbox/message screen.

i would like to clarify on the push notification function as i'm trying to do abit of fine tuning to optimize the battery consumption.
the push notification is controlled individually for each application listed under "Settings -> Notification"? meaning if i have 5 applications listed inside, and i were to set all 5 to on, it will drain more battery. but if i turn off 4 and enable 1, i'll use less battery?
or
the consumption goes by only push notification on/off irregardless of how many application is listed inside?
