X-Men 2 has an excellent surround effect. It carries so much weight than any other movies I've heard before. Even better than ROTF. Very good if you wanna test your surround speakers.

and u571 DTS-HD Master Audio ... a "must-have" bd for those to stretch out their subwoofers hehehehe!!!

U571 use to be my demo/poisoning movie to my friend & especially gf busy body relative.

But now it is Transformer 2 imax. Test it out last night at 12.30am. Fuyoh! The surround effect is top notch! But the LFE is really very BOOOOOMING good! Got all sort of bass including 'rolling bass'. All my glass window pane, ceiling & even the roofing are vibrating!

Listening/watching to all this good pq & aq on Transformer 2 make me feel worthwhile spending all my hard earn money on my HT equipment. Especially on sub! A good sub that dig real low is a must to fully enjoy Transformer 2.

BTW disk 2 got deleted scene & linkin park music video..........pity it is in 2.0, it will be nice if got 5.1

bos, since you got so many subs, can you feel the difference between Dolby digital LFE track and these HD tracks like LPCM/TrueHD/DTS-MA from the blu-rays? got difference in low bass sound?

Got different lah! DTS/DD HD audio sound much nicer, clearer & the bass effect is tight & not muddy. BD dts/dd is still much better then dts/dd in DVD9 vision. PCM & LPCM ( actually what is 'LPCM'..........in my mind it read 'lan pa cm' ) sound terrible in my HT system, sound stage is not clear, muddy & vocal sound distorted.

The best is DTS/DD HD in 7.1!

While I admit that the LFE is ultra powerful, IMHO by far it is the greatest BD wt LFE albeit a bit over (or is it that we never came across one wt such immense LFE b4).

At abt 2:10:00, the bombing sequence by the jets and oso JDAM bombs is a good test for sub. It digs real low with tight bass. It literally pounded my HT room. The pressure of the bomb is darn insane. Mind you, it is at 75dB and not being run hot. Just imagine if it is being run hot. I bet bassnuts will be grinning widely Still, there are dialogues that are sort of muffled. Prime's vocal is decent.

LPCM (with high bitrate that comes with the Blu-ray) should be ok mah.. since it's also HD audio..

anyway so 100% confirm DD vs HD audio (like trueHD and DTS-MA) is real audible difference ? just that some fellas say not significant difference , so need a 3 sub elite owner to confirm lor..

Dunnolah, I tested 2 Fast 2 Furious BD in SenQ using Onkyo AVR + Jamo speakers and I can recall my peasant setup playing DVD got no difference.

I want to know if our PS3s are able to play Region B blu-rays. I have just received The Good The Bad The Weird and Nightmare Before Christmas from Amazon UK and is unable to play them.

So the favorite online site is Amazon yah?

Local PS3 can only plays Reg A or multi-reg BD. Both your BDs are Reg B. So, it can't play.
