Just watched Monsters, Inc (UK version)... remarkable PQ & AQ! thumbup.gif

Got one question though: Is it normal for UK blu-rays not to have "pop-up" menu; unlike it's US version... or izit just this particular Disney release? Not that it is that important... but just curious anyway hmm.gif

After add shipping, total would be around RM6xx.

I rather get local version then with additional RM200, save on buying transformers and at least comes with 1 year warranty.

The only thing you should worry about is the possibility that ketam ask for SIRIM approval since it is an electrical item sweat.gif

Anyone can confirm if the UK release will be region free? Paramount releases should be region free, right? The UK edition comes with a comic book.

Yup that another way to look at it. I'm just saying there's an option for those don't mind taking the risk to save a couple of hundred laugh.gif

No SIRIM approval required for BD players. Between me and some friends, we've probably brought it about a dozen players already. No problems so far.

if the quality of the disc they use is "ichiban" it shouldnt stress on the BD laser pick-up...

it seems the AQ/PQ is better than, that of Original DVD
but.... anyway, not encouraged pirated things in this thread rite biggrin.gif

85% PQ and 75% AQ of Original BD
but still stick to say  ... its still better than ori DVD

Dude,

For Uncle Ho BDR25GB movies, PQ is more than 85% (for ori BD50 movies) and 100% (for ori BD25 movies). However, SQ is less than 50% as there are no HD audio, only DTS or DD.

For Uncle Ho BD50 (yes, its out there in the streets already since one month ago), the PQ and AQ is 100% exactly the same, along with features and menus...

There are some concern that some dubious seller will exploit this Uncle Ho BD50s and push them off as 2nd hand used ORI BD...

if ori BD25 movie has a HD audio, shouldn't unker ho BD25 also have the same HD audio, hence audio is 100% of the ori? hmm.gif
