QUOTE(s98432512 @ Feb 25 2010, 04:15 PM) the female afs might be disturb and felt threathen .. it might be hungry too after giving birth .. and took the babies as lunch ... Sorry for the wrong post, i was curious and i digged the whole substrate out and found them all burrowing in a same place BTW In total, there are 23 of them, 2 of them passed away without reason This post has been edited by tunemystylez: Feb 25 2010, 04:20 PM |

Well speaking about AFS babies.. my 1st brood still havent molted.. but the 2nd one some has molted to 4th instar and as far as i can see none were eaten. They all run around their mother... cute little fella. should i separate them now or just leave them b with mommy.. coz Alex told me to separate them once they turn to 4i but it seems they molt faster with mother or in a group. so.. should i make some experiment with them.. like making some stay with mum and some in group...

Possible, provide if its feed regularly and have a water dish in it
But i wouldn't recommend as it's not a good way to keep a afs.... Those mites u mention are probably springtail which cause no harm to the scorp and will only wandering on the substrate and clean up uneaten food Unless those mites are sticking on ur scorp and doesn't move around then u ll have to worry Exoreptile's afs, like other seller are wild caught, chance of them having mites on them are high anw Added on March 1, 2010, 1:55 amAnw u are one of the seller who bought a YFT from leetplayer last time rite? ic......i m not sure wat mite is that, but some in white color n some in orange color. just quite irritating seeing wandering in my tank.and actually there are 2 reason i thinking to change to sand tank
1. to get rid of those stvpid mite 2. to have better viewing pleasure (is already 3 month since i got them, but is less then 3 time i see them preying) between, should i seperate them? coz after crawling the thread i found out there are risk keeping them in group. no, i never buy anything from leetplayer b4, i only stick to afs so far. n this is my second time trying luck on afs....hope things just go alrite... |
