seems very idle in here...
well let me spice things up... Some pics from a trip to Malacca on Monday...
That night after resting for some hours at the hotel i went out and about in the town and gone to the Eye on M'sia and wut surprises me that they have an Exotic Animal Exhibition there.

So went in after paying RM5 entree fee.. A lot of the animals were snakes. Only one specimen is a Scorpion, and its an Emperor scorpion. I leave you guys to judge on wut i saw...

the only one inside. Im guessing its a 5th instar as its really small

the enclosure with UV Tube above...

dart tree frog.. i think
Talked to the guy who was working there (seems nice, talked about each specimen while we were walking along) on how wrong the setup were and he said 'Most of the things in here are not mine. Its my friends'. Not the answer i was looking for and he didnt technically answer to the question... so i just get along with the tour...
*sorry for the blurry pic. Was trying to hold my hands steady with the cam. Didnt use the flash coz it would just bounce back in the lens*
The next day went to the Malacca Butterfly farm. Was nice.. although it was raining... Nice collections of birds, reptiles and off course, the butterflies.. really had a hard time to snaps some pics of them... and then there were scorpions... and guess wut... Again.. let me leave the comments to u guys....

some were mating... and everyone were like 'hey.. they are fighting...' I said to them actually they are mating.. and they just excited and took pics... at least i educated them some way...

the setup.. real dry in a cave... Ask the guy who were the maintenance people and they say this is how they live. In caves.. asked about the sp and they say its 'palamneus fulvipes'... is it me or its another name for Spinifer, Longimanus??? They were larger than the specimens i have at home... surprisingly
After the guy went away i was curious. is it a scorpion sp that i didnt know.. so i pick one up and that is when all eyes were on me... apparently there were a bunch of Chinese tour people around and some malay kids and when one of them saw me picking one scorp up.. they say 'Mak mak... abg tu pegang scorpion tu..' and i was in a middle of a curious pepole asking things to me..

so... again.. i did something to educated them.. at least i didnt get kantoi...
The souvenirs shops have tons of scorpions preserved in paper weight (i guess in Resin) but it stated there its an Asian Forest Scorpion... so where is this 'palamneus fulvipes' come from... i wonder...
and lets end this with a nice color of Koi Fish... real tranquility....
