Hi there, I m new to LYN.

Just bought the 767 for rm2200. Yr price of rm2100 is the best i ve seen so far. Decided 767 over 667 becos price diff is minimal and u get some extra juice and features. The Onkyo 608 was priced slighty higher but I prefered the look of the yammy  Still in the process of running in and also setting up the avr. Currently running a 5.1 setup but will be adding 2 extra presence speakers soon. 

Guys may i know Yamaha 467 can make it to 7.1 ? or just 5.1

Just bought the 467.
1st simple task encountered problem.
Connect the bd player to 467 via hdmi.
Then 467 to ledtv via hdmi.
Howver, no signal detected at tv. Whats wrong?

where is the place for best price to buy Yamaha AVR and speaker? TBM Jln Klang Lama ok?

Added on April 19, 2011, 5:03 pmI found out how to make it to show the decoding. However, the HDMI source from my PS3 only showed PCM. I actually expected this due to the on board HD decoding capabilities of the PS3 itself. Will it be possible to make it to display DTS HD/ Dolby TruHD on the AVR panel?

I own a Denon 2310, and now using Yamaha V2067, I don't think the V2067 is too bright, and the mid is comparable to Denon, which most people consider Denon as thick and warm. I believe V1067 perform similarly. I never use any other Yamaha amp before, but I auditioned to some entry level Yamaha amps, yes, it was not impressive, however, the Yamaha V2067 totally changed my perception, some reviews also said the new V1067/2067/3067 have changed a lot, the sound is now quite different compare to old one. perhaps you can audition it some day.

i also plan to get RX-V671 , any idea with this amp? estimate how much the cost? thank you.

Hi Guys, I need your advice here. i am planning to buy the Yamaha RXV673. This AVR will connect to the 4ohms surround speakers. I am wondering if i can do so or the amp itself has setting to lower the impedance requirement like Onkyo or other brands.
