Guys, how long the hard reset run? it only takes a few minutes right? Previously when I was N-gage QD user, this reset would take around 5-10 minutes. I dun feel the 7370 code like a clean reformat coz it was very quick like a normal boot.lol

Just did a fresh installation of Garmin and included with MFM, but when I clicked on View Map, it just shows Nokia Europe map with black background, how to switch the view to MFM ?

let it get a lock first .. i'l go to the malaysian map .... if want fast .. activate the a-gps for a bit .. then after tat disable it again ... works for me tat way ...

where to select the a-gps setting?

just go outside .. apps-location

when i turn off that thing, the green bar at the upper screen shows GPS OFF..is it normal?


my credit before on garmin is RM22.01, i locate one of gas station nearby. then on the gps.after that exit garmin..checked m y credit balance. it was RM1.31. is it normal been charged like this or thats a way that no need to be charged to lock the gps?

UPDATE : checked back edi..the credit was deducted for some purpose, i dont know what purpose is that exactly, but after a while closing the garmin n stop surfing LYN from my tube, the credite back to RM3.01..

i tried red+green+camera first then 7370..both really fast like booting the phone. but the content are same as the day i bought. Well, if really that fast, then I impressed lol!!. Since i've done both reset so its a full reset.haha. Ive to reset because i've messed up with camera sound hack and java installation..Myb I take it as a call and most members here advice reset after update the firmware. Now my phone got a tip top performance and I'm happy with this

yeah, i tried to reinstall but suddenly all java apps lost T__T. so, I decided to reset. Ease of pain~

that happened to me too.. now i've got all sorts of bugs.. dun wanna reset laa.. just reinstall everything and try to live with the small bugs until the final version is released.. lesson learned.. do not try beta versions system apps..

I tried it before...
All my games ( metal slug,worms,nfs) all suddenly dissapeared from the menu after i installed the Java 2.0.
As a result of frustrations,
I was thinking of a hard reset ..
but luckily i didn't lol.
just uninstalling the java 2.0 will do
