Bro,what you need to do is just uninstall back the Java 2.0 beta you have installed..
And walla;you got your java apss back!
I tried it before...
All my games ( metal slug,worms,nfs) all suddenly dissapeared from the menu after i installed the Java 2.0.
As a result of frustrations,
I was thinking of a hard reset ..
but luckily i didn't lol.
just uninstalling the java 2.0 will do
