out of all our players on loan, in terms of performance and impact i'd say he's leading by a mile.
a lot of expectation riding on his shoulders now..but we can't get too excited yet (although i can't help it tongue.gif )
for those of u who remember, mikael forssell had a similar run when he was on loan at birmingham. he had like 17 goals during one of his spells there. unfortunately, a serious injury curtailed his career, and chelsea decided not to give him a permanent contract. hopefully stoch gets to write a much happier tale!

Forssell was def one of the better youngsters then along with the likes of Jody Morris, Carlton Cole, to name a few. Problem then was they were impatient, and wanted to get 1st team positions, thus leading to their departure from SB. Ben Sahar followed a similar pattern just this summer.

These youngsters must realise that they are in one of the bigger squad teams in the EPL and must learn to bide their time similar to what JT has done. If they have that patience to go with the talent that they very obviously possess, I'm sure they will go far in the team.

Besides Stoch, boys like Di Santo and Sturridge must be patient as well, and learn from the current 1st teamers, and to learn from the best like DD, Bally and Lamps surely beats rotting in some other teams' smaller squads, with nothing to look for, and no prospects for international call-ups.

explained! thumbup.gif

thats right, if the boys are impatient, they are only going to be playing for smaller clubs. they have to understand that Chelsea is a club contending for all the titles in every competition. Instead of sulking and wanting to leave, why not take every chance they get on the pitch to prove that they are better than the first xi? im sure if they do well in training, carlo will grant them their chance at first team action smile.gif

welll can't really blame lass..we had essien and mikel who were relatively young so he decided to take a chance elsewhere. it turned out good for him so he made the right choice. could really give mikel a run for his money, but i'd say our young nigerian is better built for the prem. he's a monster. sweat.gif

When lass was at arsenal, flamini was favoured over him to partner fabregas while at chelsea, he didn't get much opportunity too since chelsea have essien and mikel. So he moved to portsmouth, he's got the chance..

Robinho has always been a problematic player. Even when he was at Madrid, he had a fair share of problems during the 06-07 season.

really? what had he done at city this time? is he a party boy, show up late for practice and something that is far beyond my imagination?
