Finally today I got my Persona SE stock rims changed

Now using Enkei Tuning SC09 (Senz-2) 15x6.5, 8 holes 100/114.3, offset 38 with Hyper Black lock nuts and metal valves

It weighs 7kg each while my stock SE rim weighs 8kg each (weighted it in the shop). I know this is not considered a light rim, but as long as it's lighter than the original ones, I'm happy. I'm attracted more to the design

I like simple design. want the disc brake to be visible  . yeah, not too obvious, buy if i put the old rim and new rim side by side, you can see the differences.
old one, the color more dull and has 6 spokes. new one the color is brighter and shinier, got 7 spokes and the spokes are relatively thinner.

yeah...sucks at 2000rpm-3000rpm....and even worst when going up brigde or moutain  where the rpm is @ 2000-3000rpm...the car climb slowly like turtle..even i press the pedal harder the rev slowly climb up...

someone tell me equine park oso got SC. but dunno the exact location. yeah..equine park sri kembangan. 5k remaining before i need to service my car.

ya this is the only two sc that i know. never know that equine park got proton sc

oh, it's 15x6jj? All this while i thought it's 15x6.5. Can feel some difference in the steering weight after changing the wheels, albeit just a little. it feels slightly lighter now. Also, seems that can corner more stable now too. not sure is it because of the offset 38 or because you helped to adjust my rear alignment. in short, it's good 
i decided to maintain ori size of 15". simply because i dont want to sacrifice ride comfort, don't want to spend extra money changing my tyres (since it's just 7 months old) and also because i dont want the FC to increase. that's why i tried hard to find a rim that the spokes reach all the way out to the edge of the rim so that it still look large

about being worry hitting the fender, i also was worried. But tested twisting steering lock to lock in the tyre shop, my wheels didnt touch the fenders and there isn't any problem.
our original tyre is 195. so getting a 205 one is just slightly bigger. to make sure it doesn't touch the fenders, make sure the rims you're getting has offset of probably around 42. our ori rim offset is around 46.
if you get a rim like mine with offset 38 and fit a 205 tyres, there can be chances it may touch the fenders.

anyone having problem with their power window?
my driver site power window is not smooth enough, seems like something stucking inside, i told the sc yesterday during my 5k service and they told me its common thing for persona and they're not going to do anything to fix it.
is it true ?

tp, bila orang sudah pergi report tu, buat la betul2... check dan betulkan. ini tidak.. kita hantar dari pagi ke petang.. or dia akan ckp simpan kereta 2-3 hari.. lps tu ambil kereta, minyak kena curi, kereta sama juga rosak tak ada betul. dan parts proton yg plastik tu, harganya bukan murah. mahal!!! original brake pad by bosch malaysia cost u abt rm300 ! splash guard cost u rm450... crazy!!!

bila kita pergi komplen lagi, dia akan cakap.. biasa lah masalah kereta proton mmg macam ini, encik...

driver : haiya.. sebab abang dari shah alam plant... shah alam plant only produced new saga, waja and exora... gen2 and persona semua dari tanjung malim plant..
me : oh~~~

then go to office with no mood... 

p/s seem like all persona are produced at tanjung malim plant...

SAME!  Hate to disappoint owners of earlier versions of the Persona i.e. w/o IAFM.  Fact is, they are the incomplete versions of the current IAFM models. Obviously a rushed job. Personas w/o IAFM can be retrofitted but what is the point. Might as well trade in old Persona for new one.

IAFM was developed to solve the low torque problem found in the Waja & Gen-2.

yeah..im driving the 1st batch which is normal campro..no iafm.....acceleration will be good if you start from standstill and rev up to 3000rpm but if let say while u reving up and suddenly the is a car infront, where u have to slow down or going up bridge, and if the rpm is around 2000rpm....well...the car will damn slow and no power to climb/accelerate further until reaches 3000rpm...   ....

Got my lovely persona dis evening.. Nvr tot d handling n suspension is quite gd.. D engine response is better den waja.. Quick acceleration n better response.. Oni d braking is kinda weak.. Gonna change it asap.. Sumore d meter clock 8.1l/100km.. Is it on d high side?

True.. Respect develop unity.. All human r same oni the attitude is different.. Jz change other sc or u can report to ur sa as wat my sa told me.. They do offer after sales service.. Try make it out if possible..

ok let me try read the manual.. for the 2nd problem.. yes water entering the vehicles by the driving place (possible near the door there)... plan get the car to SA to check... for the 3rd for other car I don't face this problem maybe this car still new need take care abit

yea i know that.... but performance wise is ALMOST the same...

...no rev tak boleh naik....but normally before reaching corner, i slow down around 40-60km (depending on corner) and drop gear to maintain the rpm around 3k rpm...then once after corner...step on pedal and the car will move happily.....revving full no problem..la..just make sure you change the engine oil and ATF fuild 15-20k...if u rev frequently....i wonder for those who driving IAFM models, still have the lag/no pickup??...as for mine is non-iafm...so 2-3k no power..

at last the sc have called me... the he ead service apologise to me and make sure that kind of thing wont be happening again.. i want to change sc.. but at manjung area only got 1 sc.. and the head say they will take action against the worker ..

agree, seen like perodua service is better then proton. My rear knocking sound unable to slove, SC charged me RM25 for labour charge whn my meter clocked 6500km....wt....

If i wash my car / rain heavy at nite time, then the next day morning, when i wanna reverse out my car...that is a "kok" sound from rear break. I checked with SC, the explanation is " when we use the brake, it will cause some brake powder. which whn it wet, and we pull the handbrake. It will cause the brake pad to stick on the brake dics when it dry out. So the next morning, when u release the handbrake, it still stick on the brake disc until ur car moving and it will unstick the break pad dude to the dics brake rotate then generate the "kok" sound". He told me, every rear disc brake ride is same, unless u are using drum type. Is this true?

is it??? oic... never really tested it on the road yet... but by the looks of the performance data on paper.... it has 15bhp more and JUST 2nm more torque than iafm....

yea performance is better but not by far. just a weee bit only. its the torque which is more important rather than looking at the bhp figure only. and yea me too..... i would love the cps in my persona.... sigh. why? the engine looks meaner and has better tech on it rather than the mechanical iafm technology we have currently.

actually campro engines are nothing to shout about.... its just a normal very old technology dohc engine with IAFM / variable air intake and cps which existed for ages.
