Ahahahaha... now you know how difficult it is being a wedding photographer eh?
Here's some tips that I use myself:
1. High ceiling and no diffuser? Search for a blank A4 or any white paper, fold it in half and strap it to your flash head. Makes for a bigger area to bounce light off from. Trying to bounce from a high ceiling is pointless and battery sucking. Don't try to be machine gunner to get your shots. Try to be more like sniper with one shot, one kill. Anticipate the events and be prepared. You can more or less know what's gonna happen next if you stay on your toes and keep your eyes on the couple and not on your cam. Try not to chimp too much.
2. ISO 800 on the A100 can still be used. Just try overexposing your shots a little. There's some noise but viewed full screen on PC is still ok. Noise will be even less noticeable on prints.
3. Even if you have a F2.8 constant aperture lens, you will find that you cannot use F2.8 all the time no? Group shots will need you to stop down a little or the narrow DOF will find some faces OOF.
Thanks for d tips.. hehe.. i did hv my customade bounce card, different sizes. try them n still dislike d result as it tends to leave shadows behind. Love ur idea of being a Sniper instead of Machine Gunner. hahaha. Perfect shot.. isnt easy kekeke..
yeah.. group photos i hv to take from F5.6 ++, I notice smthing weird about my lens (or perhaps my setting) when im shooting at F2.8 I tend to focus THE WRONG THING!!! i'lll post a few samples for u guys to check if this could be the "famous-potential Backfocusing problem" of this tamron lens.... started to get worry when i look at my photos..

a) For lighting, you may want to try the Toilet Bowl Diffuser.. but not so good for distance more than 3m... usually at 5 meters.. i tend to hit direct flash...
b) F2.8... mostly used for creative shots... most of the time F4 to F5.6, to get good DOF...
c) ISO400 used as standard and up to ISO1600 when situation needs, like low light shooting...
d) ISO100-200 & F4-F8 for portraits.. some say can use F11 also, if you have good lighting support, like multiple flash setups..
if you have problem of underexposure due to many white subjects, try Exp +0.3 to +0.7.. (tips from Albnok)
of course, most important of all, refer to Number 1 from shootkk... anticipation and focused, dont wast too much time checking the pics already taken, moment is already lost, just be ready for next one...

i hope this is true... i can skip the A550 and straight for this... all the goodness of A550 in A700 body.. plus included DXO Optics Pro..

JANGAN!!!!! let it release at least next year end~

but this Info bout A730 seems quite believeable... but beside 14megapixels , new sensor with better noise peformance like A550, Live view + tilt screen...HDR function, like thrs no other more innovative features in it... No Video... mayb it wont poison me enough yet.
