If for travel i would suggest Monopod since it is more fast to deploy.
if really want a tripod and only for LX3, i dun tink need spend so much. The sales person i buy from say normal tripod already can handle the LX3 and very stable. Benro or Manfrotto is for DLSR type. Extra money can buy hood or flash maybe. Just my thinking. Is really up to individual. thumbup.gif
I jz came back from HK trip...
Tripod is rarely use... no time to set up...

talking about monopod, in my memory i read somewhere can use a string + nut to increase stability while shooting,

any1 try this before?

I think more work can be done on the exposure, feeling either too bright or too dim, well maybe tht's just me

i got it from my old dell laptop..
if not mistake any hotshoe cover can fit.. since the size is standard..
not quite sure.. need sifu cause i dun have DSLR...

i bought nikon BS-1 hotshow cover for my lx3. http://yamiya.com.my/store/search.php?mode=search&page=1

then bought 2nd hand nikon dslr, didnt come with hotshoe cover...so i put it on the dslr instead tongue.gif thinking of getting another one

hmm seems u need to play around with manual focus to bring up the subject of your shots, eg, better bokeh effects so the pictures can have a subject or story, etc...
yeah play around exposure for better themes or emotion of the scene

well tats my noob imho of course..

What about composition?I'm quite particular about this criteria..

tried last week.. failed... then tried again yesterday, SUCCESSFUL.. use Internet Explorer, go to www.panasonic.com.my.. there's a red button on the right of the screen says "E-WARRANTY"... then just follow the instruction..
