QUOTE(philippecr @ Apr 10 2010, 10:57 PM) Off the camera, the lens facing u. the ring is actually the extended part when u close the lens. Hold it, and then open it Anti-Clockwise. Turn it slightly harder, first time is usually "tighter" one. and dun scare, the camera build is quite solid. try so hard but still can't unscrew it...screwed up myself...lol... gotta find someone to help..

QUOTE(laichong @ Apr 11 2010, 05:15 PM) i've posted the photo for u in my bulk thread, not sure it helps or not... i had sent it to panasonic shop already, even they also found out that hard to unscrew it..so last solution is to send back to factory and ask them to unscrew it...

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Apr 26 2010, 10:22 AM) lol...how come lx3 can fit dslr lens...conversion lens only.. a noob question here..i realize something weird on lx3 compared to other camera.. normally the camera lens barrel will extend when zooming towards tele and shrink when zooming towards wide.. but lx3 does this in opposite direction..anyone can explain this??

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Apr 26 2010, 10:55 PM) hehe im just saying the longer the lens doesnt mean the further the focal range. any camera lens got multiple lens elements inside. if u really want to know, any physics book got teach lol...i have thrown all my physic books to recycle bin already.. anyway, i will find it out myself..

QUOTE(ADVedder @ Apr 28 2010, 09:18 PM) haha.. nvr mind.. not a big deal, just a curious cat.. i love to see those sifus that take night highway pictures, the trailing light.. how to do it? i know its involve shutter mode, but dunno how to do it.. get a monopod/tripod or put lx3 on a flat surface... exposure mode switch to 5-8sec aperture f5.6-8.0.. personally, i haven't try it before...
